Genesis 2:15-17 [2:15] And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. [2:16] And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [2:17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it : for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (God did not say anything about the Tree of Life . Also, notice that this commandment was given to Adam, not to Eve, as Eve may not have even been created yet. Adam would have had to pass this commandment on to Eve. Also, God said nothing about touching the tree, just don't eat of the fruit.)
Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. (The wife is not told to leave her parents)
Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (Satan told the first lie in the Bible)
Genesis 3:20, 4:17 [3:20] And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living . [4:17] And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. (Maybe Cain's wife was a daughter or at least a very close descendent of Eve, since the Bible says that she was the mother of "all" the living.)
Genesis 4:4-5, Hebrews 11:4 [Genesis 4:4] And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: [4:5] But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. [Hebrews 11:4] By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. ( The words of Moses in Genesis 4:10 are the words of God.)
Genesis 8:9 But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth : then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark. (The great Genesis flood covered the whole earth.)
Genesis 8:22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease .
Genesis 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you ; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

Genesis 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:22-27 [9:22] And Ham, the father of Canaan , saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. [9:23] And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. [9:24] And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him . [9:25] And he said, Cursed be Canaan ; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. 9:26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant . [9:27] God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
Genesis 11:10 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood : (This fixes the date of Shem's birth. Shem was 98 at the flood, Noah was 600, therefore, Noah was 502 at Shem's birth. These lengths of time are correct to + or - a year, which was about the length of the flood.)
Genesis 13:10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where , before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. (This is a desolate land today.)

Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. (Abraham went to Moriah to sacrifice Isaac. Moriah is used only twice, here and where Solomon built the temple. [II Chronicles 3:1] Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. )
Genesis 23:16-18 [23:16] And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver, which he had named in the audience of the sons of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant. [23:17] And the field of Ephron, which was in Machpelah, which was before Mamre, the field, and the cave which was therein, and all the trees that were in the field, that were in all the borders round about, were made sure [23:18] Unto Abraham for a possession in the presence of the children of Heth, before all that went in at the gate of his city. (This is the first record in the Bible of the purchase of land.)

Genesis 37:34-35 [37:34] And Jacob rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his loins, and mourned for his son many days. [37:35] And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him; but he refused to be comforted; and he said, For I will go down into the grave unto my son mourning. Thus his father wept for him. (Jacob may had more daughters than just Dinah)
Exodus 2:1 And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. (Amram & Jochebed, Moses parents)
Exodus 2:21-22 [2:21] And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter. [2:22] And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land. (Moses & Zipporah, Gershom's parents)
Exodus 4:20, 25 [4:20] And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand. [4:25] Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me. (Apparently either Gershom or Eliezer was not circumcised.)

Exodus 12:8-11 [12:8] And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. [12:9] Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof. [12:10] And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning ; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire. [12:11] And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover.
Exodus 12:40-41, Galatians 3:17 [Exodus 12:40] Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years . [12:41] And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years , even the selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt. [Galatians 3:17] And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

II Kings 17:36-37 [17:36] But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice. [17:37] And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.
