2:1[bbe] Why are the nations so violently moved, and why are the thoughts of the people so foolish?
   [hb5] ¥~ ¨¹ ¬° ¬Æ »ò ª§ ¾x ¡B ¸U ¥Á ¬° ¬Æ »ò ¿Ñ ºâ µê ¦k ªº ¨Æ ¡C
   [kjv] Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
   [nasb] Why are the nations so violently moved, and why are the thoughts of the people so foolish?

2:2[bbe] The kings of the earth have taken their place, and the rulers are fixed in their purpose, against the Lord, and against the king of his selection, saying,
   [hb5] ¥@ ¤W ªº §g ¤ý ¤@ »ô °_ ¨Ó ¡B ¦Ú ®_ ¤@ ¦P °Ó ij ¡B ­n ¼Ä ¾× ­C ©M µØ ¡B ¨Ã ¥L ªº ¨ü »I ªÌ ¡B
   [kjv] The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
   [nasb] The kings of the earth have taken their place, and the rulers are fixed in their purpose, against the Lord, and against the king of his selection, saying,

2:3[bbe] Let their chains be broken, and their cords taken from off us.

   [kjv] Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
   [nasb] Let their chains be broken, and their cords taken from off us.

2:4[bbe] Then he whose seat is in the heavens will be laughing: the Lord will make sport of them.
   [hb5] ¨º §¤ ¦b ¤Ñ ¤W ªº ¥² µo ¯º ¡D ¥D ¥² ¶á ¯º ¥L ­Ì ¡C
   [kjv] He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
   [nasb] Then he whose seat is in the heavens will be laughing: the Lord will make sport of them.

2:5[bbe] Then will his angry words come to their ears, and by his wrath they will be troubled:

   [kjv] Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

2:6[bbe] But I have put my king on my holy hill of Zion.

   [kjv] Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
   [nasb] But I have put my king on my holy hill of Zion.

2:7[bbe] I will make clear the Lord's decision: he has said to me, You are my son, this day have I given you being.

   [kjv] I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
   [nasb] I will make clear the Lord's decision: he has said to me, You are my son, this day have I given you being.

2:8[bbe] Make your request to me, and I will give you the nations for your heritage, and the farthest limits of the earth will be under your hand.
   [hb5] §A ¨D §Ú ¡B §Ú ´N ±N ¦C °ê ½ç §A ¬° °ò ·~ ¡B ±N ¦a ·¥ ½ç §A ¬° ¥Ð ²£ ¡C
   [kjv] Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
   [nasb] Make your request to me, and I will give you the nations for your heritage, and the farthest limits of the earth will be under your hand.

2:9[bbe] They will be ruled by you with a rod of iron; they will be broken like a potter's vessel.
   [hb5] §A ¥² ¥Î ÅK §ú ¥´ ¯} ¥L ­Ì ¡D §A ¥² ±N ¥L ­Ì ¦p ¦P úo ¦K ªº ¥Ë ¾¹ ºL ¸H ¡C
   [kjv] Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
   [nasb] They will be ruled by you with a rod of iron; they will be broken like a potter's vessel.

2:10[bbe] So now be wise, you kings: take his teaching, you judges of the earth.

   [kjv] Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
   [nasb] So now be wise, you kings: take his teaching, you judges of the earth.

2:11[bbe] Give worship to the Lord with fear, kissing his feet and giving him honour,
   [hb5] ·í ¦s ¬È Äß ¨Æ ©^ ­C ©M µØ ¡B ¤S ·í ¦s ¾Ô ¹¸ ¦Ó §Ö ¼Ö ¡C
   [kjv] Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
   [nasb] Give worship to the Lord with fear, kissing his feet and giving him honour,

2:12[bbe] For fear that he may be angry, causing destruction to come on you, because he is quickly moved to wrath. Happy are all those who put their faith in him.

   [kjv] Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
