約翰一書 1 John

3:1	[hb5]	你看父賜給我們是何等的慈愛、使我們得稱為　神的兒女．我們也真是他的兒女．世人所以不認識我們、是因未曾認識他。
	[kjv]	Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
	[bbe]	See what great love the Father has given us in naming us the children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not see who we are, because it did not see who he was.
3:2	[hb5]	親愛的弟兄阿、我們現在是　神的兒女、將來如何、還未顯明．但我們知道主若顯現、我們必要像他．因為必得見他的真體。
	[kjv]	Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
	[bbe]	My loved ones, now we are children of God, and at present it is not clear what we are to be. We are certain that at his revelation we will be like him; for we will see him as he is.
3:3	[hb5]	凡向他有這指望的、就潔淨自己、像他潔淨一樣。
	[kjv]	And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
	[bbe]	And everyone who has this hope in him makes himself holy, even as he is holy.
3:4	[hb5]	凡犯罪的、就是違背律法．違背律法就是罪。
	[kjv]	Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
	[bbe]	Everyone who is a sinner goes against the law, for sin is going against the law.
3:5	[hb5]	你們知道主曾顯現、是要除掉人的罪．在他並沒有罪。
	[kjv]	And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
	[bbe]	And you have knowledge that he came to take away sin: and in him there is no sin.
3:6	[hb5]	凡住在他裡面的、就不犯罪．凡犯罪的、是未曾看見他、也未曾認識他。
	[kjv]	Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
	[bbe]	Anyone who is in him does no sin; anyone who is a sinner has not seen him and has no knowledge of him.
3:7	[hb5]	小子們哪、不要被人誘惑、行義的纔是義人．正如主是義的一樣。
	[kjv]	Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
	[bbe]	My little children, let no man take you out of the true way: he who does righteousness is upright, even as he is upright;
3:8	[hb5]	犯罪的是屬魔鬼、因為魔鬼從起初就犯罪。　神的兒子顯現出來、為要除滅魔鬼的作為。
	[kjv]	He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
	[bbe]	The sinner is a child of the Evil One; for the Evil One has been a sinner from the first. And the Son of God was seen on earth so that he might put an end to the works of the Evil One.
3:9	[hb5]	凡從　神生的、就不犯罪、因　神的道〔原文作種〕存在他心裡．他也不能犯罪、因為他是由　神生的。
	[kjv]	Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
	[bbe]	Anyone who is a child of God does no sin, because he still has God's seed in him; he is not able to be a sinner, because God is his Father.
3:10	[hb5]	從此就顯出誰是　神的兒女、誰是魔鬼的兒女．凡不行義的、就不屬　神．不愛弟兄的也是如此。
	[kjv]	In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
	[bbe]	In this way it is clear who are the children of God and who are the children of the Evil One; anyone who does not do righteousness or who has no love for his brother, is not a child of God.
3:11	[hb5]	我們應當彼此相愛．這就是你們從起初所聽見的命令。
	[kjv]	For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
	[bbe]	Because this is the word which was given to you from the first, that we are to have love for one another;
3:12	[hb5]	不可像該隱．他是屬那惡者、殺了他的兄弟。為甚麼殺了他呢．因自己的行為是惡的、兄弟的行為是善的。
	[kjv]	Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
	[bbe]	Not being of the Evil One like Cain, who put his brother to death. And why did he put him to death? Because his works were evil and his brother's works were good.
3:13	[hb5]	弟兄們、世人若恨你們、不要以為希奇。
	[kjv]	Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
	[bbe]	Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world has no love for you.
3:14	[hb5]	我們因為愛弟兄、就曉得是已經出死入生了。沒有愛心的、仍住在死中。
	[kjv]	We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
	[bbe]	We are conscious that we have come out of death into life because of our love for the brothers. He who has no love is still in death.
3:15	[hb5]	凡恨他弟兄的、就是殺人的．你們曉得凡殺人的、沒有永生存在他裡面。
	[kjv]	Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
	[bbe]	Anyone who has hate for his brother is a taker of life, and you may be certain that no taker of life has eternal life in him.
3:16	[hb5]	主為我們捨命、我們從此就知道何為愛．我們也當為弟兄捨命。
	[kjv]	Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
	[bbe]	In this we see what love is, because he gave his life for us; and it is right for us to give our lives for the brothers.
3:17	[hb5]	凡有世上財物的、看見弟兄窮乏、卻塞住憐恤的心、愛　神的心怎能存在他裡面呢。
	[kjv]	But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
	[bbe]	But if a man has this world's goods, and sees that his brother is in need, and keeps his heart shut against his brother, how is it possible for the love of God to be in him?
3:18	[hb5]	小子們哪、我們相愛、不要只在言語和舌頭上．總要在行為和誠實上。
	[kjv]	My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
	[bbe]	My little children, do not let our love be in word and in tongue, but let it be in act and in good faith.
3:19	[hb5]	從此、就知道我們是屬真理的、並且我們的心在　神面前可以安穩。
	[kjv]	And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
	[bbe]	In this way we may be certain that we are true, and may give our heart comfort before him,
3:20	[hb5]	我們的心若責備我們、　神比我們的心大、一切事沒有不知道的。
	[kjv]	For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
	[bbe]	When our heart says that we have done wrong; because God is greater than our heart, and has knowledge of all things.
3:21	[hb5]	親愛的弟兄阿、我們的心若不責備我們、就可以向　神坦然無懼了．
	[kjv]	Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
	[bbe]	My loved ones, if our heart does not say that we have done wrong, we have no fear before him;
3:22	[hb5]	並且我們一切所求的、就從他得著．因為我們遵守他的命令、行他所喜悅的事。
	[kjv]	And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
	[bbe]	And he gives us all our requests, because we keep his laws and do the things which are pleasing in his eyes.
3:23	[hb5]	神的命令就是叫我們信他兒子耶穌基督的名、且照他所賜給我們的命令彼此相愛。
	[kjv]	And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
	[bbe]	And this is his law, that we have faith in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love for one another, even as he said to us.
3:24	[hb5]	遵守　神命令的、就住在　神裡面．　神也住在他裡面。我們所以知道　神住在我們裡面、是因他所賜給我們的聖靈。
	[kjv]	And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
	[bbe]	He who keeps his laws is in God and God is in him. And the Spirit which he gave us is our witness that he is in us.
