22:1	[hb5]	耶路撒冷的居民立約蘭的小兒子亞哈謝接續他作王．因為跟隨亞拉伯人來攻營的軍兵曾殺了亞哈謝的眾兄長．這樣、猶大王約蘭的兒子亞哈謝作了王。
	[kjv]	And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his stead: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.
	[bbe]	And the people of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, for the band of men who came with the Arabians to the army had put all the older sons to death. So Ahaziah, the son of Jehoram, became king.
22:2	[hb5]	亞哈謝登基的時候年四十二歲．〔列王下八章二十六節作二十二歲〕在耶路撒冷作王一年．他母親名叫亞他利雅、是暗利的孫女。
	[kjv]	Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.
	[bbe]	Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he was ruling in Jerusalem for one year. His mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri.
22:3	[hb5]	亞哈謝也行亞哈家的道．因為他母親給他主謀．使他行惡。
	[kjv]	He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.
	[bbe]	He went in the ways of the family of Ahab, for his mother was his teacher in evil-doing.
22:4	[hb5]	他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、像亞哈家一樣．因他父親死後有亞哈家的人給他主謀、以致敗壞。
	[kjv]	Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.
	[bbe]	And he did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as the family of Ahab did; for after the death of his father they were his guides to his destruction.
22:5	[hb5]	他聽從亞哈家的計謀、同以色列王亞哈的兒子約蘭往基列的拉末去、與亞蘭王哈薛爭戰．亞蘭人打傷了約蘭。
	[kjv]	He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians smote Joram.
	[bbe]	Acting on their suggestion, he went with Jehoram, son of Ahab, king of Israel, to make war on Hazael, king of Aram, at Ramoth-gilead: and Joram was wounded by the bowmen.
22:6	[hb5]	約蘭回到耶斯列、醫治在拉末與亞蘭王哈薛打仗所受的傷、猶大王約蘭的兒子亞撒利雅、〔即亞哈謝〕因為亞哈的兒子約蘭病了、就下到耶斯列看望他。
	[kjv]	And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.
	[bbe]	And he went back to Jezreel to get well from the wounds which they had given him at Ramah when he was fighting against Hazael, king of Aram. And Ahaziah, the son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to Jezreel to see Jehoram, the son of Ahab, because he was ill.
22:7	[hb5]	亞哈謝去見約蘭就被害了、這是出乎　神．因為他到了、就同約蘭出去攻擊寧示的孫子耶戶．這耶戶是耶和華所膏、使他剪除亞哈家的。
	[kjv]	And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.
	[bbe]	Now by the purpose of God, Ahaziah's journey to see Jehoram was the cause of his downfall: for when he came there, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu, the son of Nimshi, who had been marked out by the Lord for the destruction of the family of Ahab.
22:8	[hb5]	耶戶討亞哈家罪的時候、遇見猶大的眾首領、和亞哈謝的眾姪子服事亞哈謝、就把他們都殺了。
	[kjv]	And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them.
	[bbe]	Now when Jehu was effecting the punishment of the family of Ahab, he came to the princes of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah's brothers, the servants of Ahaziah, and put them to death.
22:9	[hb5]	亞哈謝藏在撒瑪利亞、耶戶尋找他．眾人將他拿住、送到耶戶那裡、就殺了他、將他葬埋．因他們說、他是那盡心尋求耶和華之約沙法的兒子。這樣、亞哈謝的家無力保守國權。
	[kjv]	And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.
	[bbe]	And he went in search of Ahaziah; and when they came where he was, (for he was in a secret place in Samaria,) they took him to Jehu and put him to death; then they put his body to rest in the earth, for they said, He is the son of Jehoshaphat, whose heart was true to the Lord. So the family of Ahaziah had no power to keep the kingdom.
22:10	[hb5]	亞哈謝的母親亞他利雅見他兒子死了、就起來剿滅猶大王室。
	[kjv]	But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.
	[bbe]	Now when Athaliah, the mother of Ahaziah, saw that her son was dead, she had all the rest of the seed of the kingdom of Judah put to death.
22:11	[hb5]	但王的女兒約示巴、將亞哈謝的兒子約阿施、從那被殺的王子中偷出來、把他和他的乳母都藏在臥房裡。約示巴是約蘭王的女兒、亞哈謝的妹子、祭司耶何耶大的妻．他收藏約阿施、躲避亞他利雅、免得被殺。
	[kjv]	But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.
	[bbe]	But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, secretly took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, away from among the king's sons who were put to death, and put him and the woman who took care of him in a bedroom. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of King Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest and sister of Ahaziah, kept him safe from Athaliah, so that she did not put him to death.
22:12	[hb5]	約阿施和他們一同藏在　神殿裡六年．亞他利雅篡了國位。
	[kjv]	And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.
	[bbe]	And she kept him safe with her in the house of God for six years, while Athaliah was ruling the land.
