13:1	[hb5]	大衛的兒子押沙龍有一個美貌的妹子、名叫他瑪．大衛的兒子暗嫩愛他。
	[kjv]	And it came to pass after this, that Absalom the son of David had a fair sister, whose name was Tamar; and Amnon the son of David loved her.
	[bbe]	Now after this, it came about that Absalom, David's son, had a beautiful sister, whose name was Tamar; and David's son Amnon was in love with her.
13:2	[hb5]	暗嫩為他妹子他瑪憂急成病．他瑪還是處女．暗嫩以為難向他行事。
	[kjv]	And Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin; and Amnon thought it hard for him to do anything to her.
	[bbe]	And he was so deeply in love that he became ill because of his sister Tamar; for she was a virgin, and so it seemed hard to Amnon to do anything to her.
13:3	[hb5]	暗嫩有一個朋友、名叫約拿達、是大衛長兄示米亞的兒子、這約拿達為人極其狡猾。
	[kjv]	But Amnon had a friend, whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother: and Jonadab was a very subtil man.
	[bbe]	But Amnon had a friend whose name was Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David's brother: and Jonadab was a very wise man.
13:4	[hb5]	他問暗嫩說、王的兒子阿、為何一天比一天瘦弱呢．請你告訴我。暗嫩回答說、我愛我兄弟押沙龍的妹子他瑪。
	[kjv]	And he said unto him, Why art thou, being the king's son, lean from day to day? wilt thou not tell me? And Amnon said unto him, I love Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.
	[bbe]	And he said to him, O son of the king, why are you getting thinner day by day? will you not say what your trouble is? And Amnon said to him, I am in love with Tamar, my brother Absalom's sister.
13:5	[hb5]	約拿達說、你不如躺在床上裝病．你父親來看你、就對他說、求父叫我妹子他瑪來、在我眼前預備食物、遞給我喫、使我看見、好從他手裡接過來喫。
	[kjv]	And Jonadab said unto him, Lay thee down on thy bed, and make thyself sick: and when thy father cometh to see thee, say unto him, I pray thee, let my sister Tamar come, and give me meat, and dress the meat in my sight, that I may see it, and eat it at her hand.
	[bbe]	Then Jonadab said to him, Go to your bed, and let it seem that you are ill: and when your father comes to see you, say to him, Let my sister Tamar come and give me bread, and get the food ready before my eyes, so that I may see it and take it from her hand.
13:6	[hb5]	於是暗嫩躺臥裝病．王來看他、他對王說、求父叫我妹子他瑪來、在我眼前為我作兩個餅、我好從他手裡接過來喫。
	[kjv]	So Amnon lay down, and made himself sick: and when the king was come to see him, Amnon said unto the king, I pray thee, let Tamar my sister come, and make me a couple of cakes in my sight, that I may eat at her hand.
	[bbe]	So Amnon went to bed and made himself seem ill: and when the king came to see him, Amnon said to the king, Please let my sister Tamar come and make me one or two cakes before my eyes, so that I may take food from her hand.
13:7	[hb5]	大衛就打發人到宮裡、對他瑪說、你往你哥哥暗嫩的屋裡去、為他預備食物。
	[kjv]	Then David sent home to Tamar, saying, Go now to thy brother Amnon's house, and dress him meat.
	[bbe]	Then David sent to the house for Tamar and said, Go now to your brother Amnon's house and get a meal for him.
13:8	[hb5]	他瑪就到他哥哥暗嫩的屋裡．暗嫩正躺臥。他瑪摶麵、在他眼前作餅、且烤熟了。
	[kjv]	So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house; and he was laid down. And she took flour, and kneaded it, and made cakes in his sight, and did bake the cakes.
	[bbe]	So Tamar went to her brother Amnon's house; and he was in bed. And she took paste and made cakes before his eyes, cooking them over the fire.
13:9	[hb5]	在他面前、將餅從鍋裡倒出來．他卻不肯喫、便說、眾人離開我出去罷．眾人就都離開他出去了。
	[kjv]	And she took a pan, and poured them out before him; but he refused to eat. And Amnon said, Have out all men from me. And they went out every man from him.
	[bbe]	And she took the cooking-pot, and put the cakes before him, but he would not take them. And Amnon said, Let everyone go away from me. So they all went out.
13:10	[hb5]	暗嫩對他瑪說、你把食物拿進臥房、我好從你手裡接過來喫．他瑪就把所作的餅、拿進臥房、到他哥哥暗嫩那裡。
	[kjv]	And Amnon said unto Tamar, Bring the meat into the chamber, that I may eat of thine hand. And Tamar took the cakes which she had made, and brought them into the chamber to Amnon her brother.
	[bbe]	Then Amnon said to Tamar, Take the food and come into my bedroom, so that I may take it from your hand. So Tamar took the cakes she had made and went with them into her brother Amnon's bedroom.
13:11	[hb5]	拿著餅上前給他喫、他便拉住他瑪、說、我妹妹、你來與我同寢。
	[kjv]	And when she had brought them unto him to eat, he took hold of her, and said unto her, Come lie with me, my sister.
	[bbe]	And when she took them to give them to him, he put his arms round her and said, Come to bed, my sister.
13:12	[hb5]	他瑪說、我哥哥、不要玷辱我．以色列人中不當這樣行．你不要作這醜事。
	[kjv]	And she answered him, Nay, my brother, do not force me; for no such thing ought to be done in Israel: do not thou this folly.
	[bbe]	And answering him, she said, O my brother, do not put shame on me; it is not right for such a thing to be done in Israel: do not this evil thing.
13:13	[hb5]	你玷辱了我、我何以掩蓋我的羞恥呢。你在以色列中也成了愚妄人．你可以求王、他必不禁止我歸你。
	[kjv]	And I, whither shall I cause my shame to go? and as for thee, thou shalt be as one of the fools in Israel. Now therefore, I pray thee, speak unto the king; for he will not withhold me from thee.
	[bbe]	What will become of me in my shame? and as for you, you will be looked down on with disgust by all Israel. Now then, go and make your request to the king, for he will not keep me from you.
13:14	[hb5]	但暗嫩不肯聽他的話．因比他力大就玷辱他、與他同寢。
	[kjv]	Howbeit he would not hearken unto her voice: but, being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.
	[bbe]	But he would not give attention to what she said: but being stronger than she, he took her by force, and had connection with her.
13:15	[hb5]	隨後、暗嫩極其恨他、那恨他的心、比先前愛他的心更甚．對他說、你起來去罷。
	[kjv]	Then Amnon hated her exceedingly; so that the hatred wherewith he hated her was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her. And Amnon said unto her, Arise, be gone.
	[bbe]	Then Amnon was full of hate for her, hating her with a hate greater than his earlier love for her. And he said to her, Get up and be gone.
13:16	[hb5]	他瑪說、不要這樣．你趕出我去的這罪、比你纔行的更重．但暗嫩不肯聽他的話。
	[kjv]	And she said unto him, There is no cause: this evil in sending me away is greater than the other that thou didst unto me. But he would not hearken unto her.
	[bbe]	And she said to him, Not so, my brother, for this great wrong in sending me away is worse than what you did to me before. But he gave no attention to her.
13:17	[hb5]	就叫伺候自己的僕人來、說、將這個女子趕出去．他一出去、你就關門上閂。
	[kjv]	Then he called his servant that ministered unto him, and said, Put now this woman out from me, and bolt the door after her.
	[bbe]	Then he gave a cry to the servant who was waiting on him and said, Put this woman out, and let the door be locked after her.
13:18	[hb5]	那時他瑪穿著彩衣．因為沒有出嫁的公主都是這樣穿．暗嫩的僕人就把他趕出去、關門上閂。
	[kjv]	And she had a garment of divers colours upon her: for with such robes were the king's daughters that were virgins apparelled. Then his servant brought her out, and bolted the door after her.
	[bbe]	Now she had on a long robe, such as in past times the king's virgin daughters were dressed in. Then the servant put her out, locking the door after her.
13:19	[hb5]	他瑪把灰塵撒在頭上、撕裂所穿的彩衣．以手抱頭、一面行走、一面哭喊。
	[kjv]	And Tamar put ashes on her head, and rent her garment of divers colours that was on her, and laid her hand on her head, and went on crying.
	[bbe]	And Tamar, in her grief, put dust on her head; and she put her hand on her head and went away crying loudly.
13:20	[hb5]	他胞兄押沙龍問他說、莫非你哥哥暗嫩與你親近了麼。我妹妹、暫且不要作聲、他是你的哥哥．不要將這事放在心上．他瑪就孤孤單單的住在他胞兄押沙龍家裡。
	[kjv]	And Absalom her brother said unto her, Hath Amnon thy brother been with thee? but hold now thy peace, my sister: he is thy brother; regard not this thing. So Tamar remained desolate in her brother Absalom's house.
	[bbe]	And her brother Absalom said to her, Has your brother Amnon been with you? but now, let there be an end to your crying, my sister: he is your brother, do not take this thing to heart. So Tamar went on living uncomforted in her brother's house.
13:21	[hb5]	大衛王聽見這事、就甚發怒。
	[kjv]	But when king David heard of all these things, he was very wroth.
	[bbe]	But when King David had news of all these things he was very angry; but he did not make trouble for Amnon his son, for he was dear to David, being his oldest son.
13:22	[hb5]	押沙龍並不和他哥哥暗嫩說好說歹．因為暗嫩玷辱他妹妹他瑪、所以押沙龍恨惡他。
	[kjv]	And Absalom spake unto his brother Amnon neither good nor bad: for Absalom hated Amnon, because he had forced his sister Tamar.
	[bbe]	But Absalom said nothing to his brother Amnon, good or bad: for he was full of hate for him, because he had taken his sister Tamar by force.
13:23	[hb5]	過了二年、在靠近以法蓮的巴力夏瑣、有人為押沙龍剪羊毛．押沙龍請王的眾子與他同去。
	[kjv]	And it came to pass after two full years, that Absalom had sheepshearers in Baalhazor, which is beside Ephraim: and Absalom invited all the king's sons.
	[bbe]	Now after two full years, Absalom had men cutting the wool of his sheep in Baal-hazor, which is near Ephraim: and he sent for all the king's sons to come to his feast.
13:24	[hb5]	押沙龍來見王、說、現在有人為僕人剪羊毛、請王、和王的臣僕、與僕人同去。
	[kjv]	And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheepshearers; let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants go with thy servant.
	[bbe]	And Absalom came to the king and said, See now, your servant is cutting the wool of his sheep; will the king and his servants be pleased to come?
13:25	[hb5]	王對押沙龍說、我兒、我們不必都去、恐怕使你耗費太多。押沙龍再三請王．王仍是不肯去、只為他祝福。
	[kjv]	And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.
	[bbe]	And the king said to Absalom, No, my son, let us not all go, or the number will be over-great for you. And he made his request again, but he would not go, but he gave him his blessing.
13:26	[hb5]	押沙龍說、王若不去、求王許我哥哥暗嫩同去．王說、何必要他去呢。
	[kjv]	Then said Absalom, If not, I pray thee, let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said unto him, Why should he go with thee?
	[bbe]	Then Absalom said, If you will not go, then let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said to him, Is there any reason for him to go with you?
13:27	[hb5]	押沙龍再三求王、王就許暗嫩、和王的眾子、與他同去。
	[kjv]	But Absalom pressed him, that he let Amnon and all the king's sons go with him.
	[bbe]	But Absalom went on requesting him till he let Amnon and all the king's sons go with him. And Absalom made a great feast like a feast for a king.
13:28	[hb5]	押沙龍吩咐僕人說、你們注意、看暗嫩飲酒暢快的時候．我對你們說、殺暗嫩、你們便殺他、不要懼怕．這不是我吩咐你們的麼。你們只管壯膽奮勇。
	[kjv]	Now Absalom had commanded his servants, saying, Mark ye now when Amnon's heart is merry with wine, and when I say unto you, Smite Amnon; then kill him, fear not: have not I commanded you? be courageous, and be valiant.
	[bbe]	Now Absalom had given orders to his servants, saying, Now take note when Amnon's heart is glad with wine; and when I say to you, Make an attack on Amnon, then put him to death without fear: have I not given you orders? be strong and without fear.
13:29	[hb5]	押沙龍的僕人就照押沙龍所吩咐的、向暗嫩行了。王的眾子都起來、各人騎上騾子、逃跑了。
	[kjv]	And the servants of Absalom did unto Amnon as Absalom had commanded. Then all the king's sons arose, and every man gat him up upon his mule, and fled.
	[bbe]	So Absalom's servants did to Amnon as Absalom had given them orders. Then all the king's sons got up, and every man got on his beast and went in flight.
13:30	[hb5]	他們還在路上、有風聲傳到大衛那裡、說、押沙龍將王的眾子都殺了、沒有留下一個。
	[kjv]	And it came to pass, while they were in the way, that tidings came to David, saying, Absalom hath slain all the king's sons, and there is not one of them left.
	[bbe]	Now while they were on their way, news was given to David that Absalom had put to death all the sons of the king and that not one of them was still living.
13:31	[hb5]	王就起來、撕裂衣服、躺在地上．王的臣僕、也都撕裂衣服、站在旁邊。
	[kjv]	Then the king arose, and tare his garments, and lay on the earth; and all his servants stood by with their clothes rent.
	[bbe]	Then the king got up in great grief, stretching himself out on the earth: and all his servants were by his side, with their clothing parted.
13:32	[hb5]	大衛的長兄、示米亞的兒子約拿達說、我主、不要以為王的眾子少年人都殺了．只有暗嫩一個人死了．自從暗嫩玷辱押沙龍妹子他瑪的那日、押沙龍就定意殺暗嫩了。
	[kjv]	And Jonadab, the son of Shimeah David's brother, answered and said, Let not my lord suppose that they have slain all the young men the king's sons; for Amnon only is dead: for by the appointment of Absalom this hath been determined from the day that he forced his sister Tamar.
	[bbe]	And Jonadab, the son of Shimeah, David's brother, said, Let not my lord have the idea that all the sons of the king have been put to death; for only Amnon is dead: this has been purposed by Absalom from the day when he took his sister Tamar by force.
13:33	[hb5]	現在我主我王、不要把這事放在心上、以為王的眾子都死了．只有暗嫩一個人死了。
	[kjv]	Now therefore let not my lord the king take the thing to his heart, to think that all the king's sons are dead: for Amnon only is dead.
	[bbe]	So now, let not my lord the king take this thing to heart, with the idea that all the king's sons are dead: for only Amnon is dead.
13:34	[hb5]	押沙龍逃跑了。守望的少年人舉目觀看、見有許多人從山坡的路上來。
	[kjv]	But Absalom fled. And the young man that kept the watch lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came much people by the way of the hill side behind him.
	[bbe]	But Absalom went in flight. And the young man who kept the watch, lifting up his eyes, saw that a great band of people was coming down the slope by the way of the Horons; and the watchman came and gave word to the king, saying, I saw men coming down by the way of the Horons, from the hillside.
13:35	[hb5]	約拿達對王說、看哪、王的眾子都來了．果然與你僕人所說的相合。
	[kjv]	And Jonadab said unto the king, Behold, the king's sons come: as thy servant said, so it is.
	[bbe]	And Jonadab said to the king, See, the king's sons are coming; as your servant said, so it is.
13:36	[hb5]	話纔說完、王的眾子都到了、放聲大哭．王和臣僕、也都哭得甚慟。
	[kjv]	And it came to pass, as soon as he had made an end of speaking, that, behold, the king's sons came, and lifted up their voice and wept: and the king also and all his servants wept very sore.
	[bbe]	And while he was talking, the king's sons came, with weeping and loud cries: and the king and all his servants were weeping bitterly.
13:37	[hb5]	押沙龍逃到基述王亞米忽的兒子達買那裡去了。大衛天天為他兒子悲哀。
	[kjv]	But Absalom fled, and went to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, king of Geshur. And David mourned for his son every day.
	[bbe]	So Absalom went in flight and came to Talmai, the son of Ammihud, the king of Geshur, where he was for three years.
13:38	[hb5]	押沙龍逃到基述、在那裡住了三年。
	[kjv]	So Absalom fled, and went to Geshur, and was there three years.
	[bbe]	And the king was sorrowing for his son all the time.
13:39	[hb5]	暗嫩死了以後、大衛王得了安慰．心裡切切想念押沙龍。
	[kjv]	And the soul of king David longed to go forth unto Absalom: for he was comforted concerning Amnon, seeing he was dead.
	[bbe]	And the heart of David was wasted with desire for Absalom: for he was comforted for the death of Amnon.
