約伯記 Job

40:1	[hb5]	耶和華又對約伯說、
	[kjv]	Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,
	[bbe]	...
40:2	[hb5]	強辯的、豈可與全能者爭論麼．與　神辯駁的、可以回答這些罷。
	[kjv]	Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
	[bbe]	Will he who is protesting give teaching to the Ruler of all? Let him who has arguments to put forward against God give an answer.
40:3	[hb5]	於是約伯回答耶和華說、
	[kjv]	Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
	[bbe]	And Job said in answer to the Lord,
40:4	[hb5]	我是卑賤的．我用甚麼回答你呢．只好用手摀口。
	[kjv]	Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
	[bbe]	Truly, I am of no value; what answer may I give to you? I will put my hand on my mouth.
40:5	[hb5]	我說了一次、再不回答．說了兩次、就不再說。
	[kjv]	Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
	[bbe]	I have said once, and even twice, what was in my mind, but I will not do so again.
40:6	[hb5]	於是耶和華從旋風中回答約伯、說、
	[kjv]	Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
	[bbe]	Then the Lord made answer to Job out of the storm-wind, and said,
40:7	[hb5]	你要如勇士束腰．我問你、你可以指示我。
	[kjv]	Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
	[bbe]	Get your strength together like a man of war: I will put questions to you, and you will give me the answers.
40:8	[hb5]	你豈可廢棄我所擬定的．豈可定我有罪、好顯自己為義麼。
	[kjv]	Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
	[bbe]	Will you even make my right of no value? will you say that I am wrong in order to make clear that you are right?
40:9	[hb5]	你有　神那樣的膀臂麼．你能像他發雷聲麼。
	[kjv]	Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
	[bbe]	Have you an arm like God? have you a voice of thunder like his?
40:10	[hb5]	你要以榮耀莊嚴為妝飾、以尊榮威嚴為衣服．
	[kjv]	Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.
	[bbe]	Put on the ornaments of your pride; be clothed with glory and power:
40:11	[hb5]	要發出你滿溢的怒氣、見一切驕傲的人、使他降卑．
	[kjv]	Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
	[bbe]	Let your wrath be overflowing; let your eyes see all the sons of pride, and make them low.
40:12	[hb5]	見一切驕傲的人、將他制伏、把惡人踐踏在本處．
	[kjv]	Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
	[bbe]	Send destruction on all who are lifted up, pulling down the sinners from their places.
40:13	[hb5]	將他們一同隱藏在塵土中、把他們的臉蒙蔽在隱密處．
	[kjv]	Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.
	[bbe]	Let them be covered together in the dust; let their faces be dark in the secret place of the underworld.
40:14	[hb5]	我就認你右手能以救自己。
	[kjv]	Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.
	[bbe]	Then I will give praise to you, saying that your right hand is able to give you salvation.
40:15	[hb5]	你且觀看河馬．我造你也造他．他喫草與牛一樣。
	[kjv]	Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.
	[bbe]	See now the Great Beast, whom I made, even as I made you; he takes grass for food, like the ox.
40:16	[hb5]	他的氣力在腰間、能力在肚腹的筋上。
	[kjv]	Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
	[bbe]	His strength is in his body, and his force in the muscles of his stomach.
40:17	[hb5]	他搖動尾巴如香柏樹．他大腿的筋互相聯絡。
	[kjv]	He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
	[bbe]	His tail is curving like a cedar; the muscles of his legs are joined together.
40:18	[hb5]	他的骨頭好像銅管．他的肢體彷彿鐵棍。
	[kjv]	His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
	[bbe]	His bones are pipes of brass, his legs are like rods of iron.
40:19	[hb5]	他在　神所造的物中為首．創造他的給他刀劍。
	[kjv]	He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.
	[bbe]	He is the chief of the ways of God, made by him for his pleasure.
40:20	[hb5]	諸山給他出食物、也是百獸遊玩之處。
	[kjv]	Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
	[bbe]	He takes the produce of the mountains, where all the beasts of the field are at play.
40:21	[hb5]	他伏在蓮葉之下、臥在蘆葦隱密處、和水窪子裡。
	[kjv]	He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
	[bbe]	He takes his rest under the trees of the river, and in the pool, under the shade of the water-plants.
40:22	[hb5]	蓮葉的陰涼遮蔽他、溪旁的柳樹環繞他。
	[kjv]	The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
	[bbe]	He is covered by the branches of the trees; the grasses of the stream are round him.
40:23	[hb5]	河水氾濫、他不發戰、就是約但河的水漲到他口邊、也是安然。
	[kjv]	Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
	[bbe]	Truly, if the river is overflowing, it gives him no cause for fear; he has no sense of danger, even if Jordan is rushing against his mouth.
40:24	[hb5]	在他防備的時候誰能捉拿他、誰能牢籠他穿他的鼻子呢。
	[kjv]	He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.
	[bbe]	Will anyone take him when he is on the watch, or put metal teeth through his nose?
