25:1	[hgb]	亚伯拉罕又娶了一妻，名叫基土拉。
	[bbe]	And Abraham took another wife named Keturah.
25:2	[hgb]	基土拉给他生了心兰，约珊，米但，米甸，伊施巴，和书亚。
	[bbe]	She became the mother of Zimran and Jokshan and Medan and Midian and Ishbak and Shuah.
25:3	[hgb]	约珊生了示巴和底但。底但的子孙是亚书利族，利都是族，和利乌米族。
	[bbe]	And Jokshan became the father of Sheba and Dedan. And from Dedan came the Asshurim and Letushim and Leummim.
25:4	[hgb]	米甸的儿子是以法，以弗，哈诺，亚比大，和以勒大。这都是基土拉的子孙。
	[bbe]	And from Midian came Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah. All these were the offspring of Keturah.
25:5	[hgb]	亚伯拉罕将一切所有的都给了以撒。
	[bbe]	Now Abraham gave all his property to Isaac;
25:6	[hgb]	亚伯拉罕把财物分给他庶出的众子，趁着自己还在世的时候打发他们离开他的儿子以撒，往东方去。
	[bbe]	But to the sons of his other women he gave offerings, and sent them away, while he was still living, into the east country.
25:7	[hgb]	亚伯拉罕一生的年日是一百七十五岁。
	[bbe]	Now the years of Abraham's life were a hundred and seventy-five.
25:8	[hgb]	亚伯拉罕寿高年迈，气绝而死，归到他列祖（原文作本民）那里。
	[bbe]	And Abraham came to his death, an old man, full of years; and he was put to rest with his people.
25:9	[hgb]	他两个儿子以撒，以实玛利把他埋葬在麦比拉洞里。这洞在幔利前，赫人琐辖的儿子以弗仑的田中，
	[bbe]	And Isaac and Ishmael, his sons, put him to rest in the hollow rock of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron, the son of Zohar the Hittite, near Mamre;
25:10	[hgb]	就是亚伯拉罕向赫人买的那块田。亚伯拉罕和他妻子撒拉都葬在那里。
	[bbe]	The same field which Abraham got from the children of Heth: there Abraham was put to rest with Sarah, his wife.
25:11	[hgb]	亚伯拉罕死了以后，神赐福给他的儿子以撒。以撒靠近庇耳拉海莱居住。
	[bbe]	Now after the death of Abraham, the blessing of God was with Isaac, his son.
25:12	[hgb]	撒拉的使女埃及人夏甲给亚伯拉罕所生的儿子是以实玛利。
	[bbe]	Now these are the generations of Ishmael, the son of Abraham, whose mother was Hagar the Egyptian, the servant of Sarah:
25:13	[hgb]	以实玛利儿子们的名字，按着他们的家谱记在下面。以实玛利的长子是尼拜约，又有基达，亚德别，米比衫，
	[bbe]	These are the names of the sons of Ishmael by their generations: Ishmael's first son was Nebaioth; then Kedar and Adbeel and Mibsam
25:14	[hgb]	米施玛，度玛，玛撒，
	[bbe]	And Mishma and Dumah and Massa,
25:15	[hgb]	哈大，提玛，伊突，拿非施，基底玛。
	[bbe]	Hadad and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:
25:16	[hgb]	这是以实玛利众子的名字，照着他们的村庄，营寨，作了十二族的族长。
	[bbe]	These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names in their towns and their tent-circles; twelve chiefs with their peoples.
25:17	[hgb]	以实玛利享寿一百三十七岁，气绝而死，归到他列祖（原文作本民）那里。
	[bbe]	And the years of Ishmael's life were a hundred and thirty-seven: and he came to his end, and was put to rest with his people.
25:18	[hgb]	他子孙的住处在他众弟兄东边，从哈腓拉直到埃及前的书珥，正在亚述的道上。
	[bbe]	And their country was from Havilah to Shur which is east of Egypt: they took their place to the east of all their brothers.
25:19	[hgb]	亚伯拉罕的儿子以撒的后代记在下面。亚伯拉罕生以撒。
	[bbe]	Now these are the generations of Abraham's son Isaac:
25:20	[hgb]	以撒娶利百加为妻的时候正四十岁。利百加是巴旦亚兰地的亚兰人彼土利的女儿，是亚兰人拉班的妹子。
	[bbe]	Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Aramaean of Paddan-aram, and the sister of Laban the Aramaean, to be his wife.
25:21	[hgb]	以撒因他妻子不生育，就为她祈求耶和华。耶和华应允他的祈求，他的妻子利百加就怀了孕。
	[bbe]	Isaac made prayer to the Lord for his wife because she had no children; and the Lord gave ear to his prayer, and Rebekah became with child.
25:22	[hgb]	孩子们在她腹中彼此相争，她就说，若是这样，我为什么活着呢？（或作我为什么如此呢？）。她就去求问耶和华。
	[bbe]	And the children were fighting together inside her, and she said, If it is to be so, why am I like this? So she went to put her question to the Lord.
25:23	[hgb]	耶和华对她说，两国在你腹内。两族要从你身上出来。这族必强于那族。将来大的要服事小的。
	[bbe]	And the Lord said to her, Two nations are in your body, and two peoples will come to birth from you: the one will be stronger than the other, and the older will be the servant of the younger.
25:24	[hgb]	生产的日子到了，腹中果然是双子。
	[bbe]	And when the time came for her to give birth, there were two children in her body.
25:25	[hgb]	先产的身体发红，浑身有毛，如同皮衣，他们就给他起名叫以扫（以扫就是有毛的意思）。
	[bbe]	And the first came out red from head to foot like a robe of hair, and they gave him the name of Esau.
25:26	[hgb]	随后又生了以扫的兄弟，手抓住以扫的脚跟，因此给他起名叫雅各（雅各就是抓住的意思）。利百加生下两个儿子的时候，以撒年正六十岁。
	[bbe]	And after him, his brother came out, gripping Esau's foot; and he was named Jacob: Isaac was sixty years old when she gave birth to them.
25:27	[hgb]	两个孩子渐渐长大，以扫善于打猎，常在田野。雅各为人安静，常住在帐棚里。
	[bbe]	And the boys came to full growth; and Esau became a man of the open country, an expert bowman; but Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents.
25:28	[hgb]	以撒爱以扫，因为常吃他的野味。利百加却爱雅各。
	[bbe]	Now Isaac's love was for Esau, because Esau's meat was greatly to his taste: but Rebekah had more love for Jacob.
25:29	[hgb]	有一天，雅各熬汤，以扫从田野回来累昏了。
	[bbe]	And one day Jacob was cooking some soup when Esau came in from the fields in great need of food;
25:30	[hgb]	以扫对雅各说，我累昏了，求你把这红汤给我喝。因此以扫又叫以东（以东就是红的意思）。
	[bbe]	And Esau said to Jacob, Give me a full meal of that red soup, for I am overcome with need for food: for this reason he was named Edom.
25:31	[hgb]	雅各说，你今日把长子的名分卖给我吧。
	[bbe]	And Jacob said, First of all give me your birthright.
25:32	[hgb]	以扫说，我将要死，这长子的名分于我有什么益处呢？
	[bbe]	And Esau said, Truly, I am at the point of death: what profit is the birthright to me?
25:33	[hgb]	雅各说，你今日对我起誓吧。以扫就对他起了誓，把长子的名分卖给雅各。
	[bbe]	And Jacob said, First of all give me your oath; and he gave him his oath, handing over his birthright to Jacob.
25:34	[hgb]	于是雅各将饼和红豆汤给了以扫，以扫吃了喝了，便起来走了。这就是以扫轻看了他长子的名分。
	[bbe]	Then Jacob gave him bread and soup; and he took food and drink and went away, caring little for his birthright.
