箴言 Proverbs

3:1	[hgb]	我儿，不要忘记我的法则。（或作指教）你心要谨守我的诫命。
	[bbe]	My son, keep my teaching in your memory, and my rules in your heart:
3:2	[hgb]	因为他必将长久的日子，生命的年数，与平安，加给你。
	[bbe]	For they will give you increase of days, years of life, and peace.
3:3	[hgb]	不可使慈爱诚实离开你。要系在你颈项上，刻在你心版上。
	[bbe]	Let not mercy and good faith go from you; let them be hanging round your neck, recorded on your heart;
3:4	[hgb]	这样，你必在神和世人眼前蒙恩宠，有聪明。
	[bbe]	So you will have grace and a good name in the eyes of God and men.
3:5	[hgb]	你要专心仰赖耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明。
	[bbe]	Put all your hope in God, not looking to your reason for support.
3:6	[hgb]	在你一切所行的事上，都要认定他，他必指引你的路。
	[bbe]	In all your ways give ear to him, and he will make straight your footsteps.
3:7	[hgb]	不要自以为有智慧。要敬畏耶和华，远离恶事。
	[bbe]	Put no high value on your wisdom: let the fear of the Lord be before you, and keep yourself from evil:
3:8	[hgb]	这便医治你的肚脐，滋润你的百骨。
	[bbe]	This will give strength to your flesh, and new life to your bones.
3:9	[hgb]	你要以财物，和一切初熟的土产，尊荣耶和华。
	[bbe]	Give honour to the Lord with your wealth, and with the first-fruits of all your increase:
3:10	[hgb]	这样，你的仓房，必充满有余，你的酒榨，有新酒盈溢。
	[bbe]	So your store-houses will be full of grain, and your vessels overflowing with new wine.
3:11	[hgb]	我儿，你不可轻看耶和华的管教，（或作惩治）也不可厌烦他的责备。
	[bbe]	My son, do not make your heart hard against the Lord's teaching; do not be made angry by his training:
3:12	[hgb]	因为耶和华所爱的，他必责备。正如父亲责备所喜爱的儿子。
	[bbe]	For to those who are dear to him the Lord says sharp words, and makes the son in whom he has delight undergo pain.
3:13	[hgb]	得智慧，得聪明的，这人便为有福。
	[bbe]	Happy is the man who makes discovery of wisdom, and he who gets knowledge.
3:14	[hgb]	因为得智慧胜过得银子，其利益强如精金。
	[bbe]	For trading in it is better than trading in silver, and its profit greater than bright gold.
3:15	[hgb]	比珍珠（或作红宝石）宝贵。你一切所喜爱的，都不足与比较。
	[bbe]	She is of more value than jewels, and nothing for which you may have a desire is fair in comparison with her.
3:16	[hgb]	他右手有长寿。左手有富贵。
	[bbe]	Long life is in her right hand, and in her left are wealth and honour.
3:17	[hgb]	他的道是安乐，他的路全是平安。
	[bbe]	Her ways are ways of delight, and all her goings are peace.
3:18	[hgb]	他与持守他的作生命树。持定他的俱各有福。
	[bbe]	She is a tree of life to all who take her in their hands, and happy is everyone who keeps her.
3:19	[hgb]	耶和华以智慧立地。以聪明定天。
	[bbe]	The Lord by wisdom put in position the bases of the earth; by reason he put the heavens in their place.
3:20	[hgb]	以知识使深渊裂开，使天空滴下甘露。
	[bbe]	By his knowledge the deep was parted, and dew came dropping from the skies.
3:21	[hgb]	我儿，要谨守真智慧和谋略。不可使他离开你的眼目。
	[bbe]	My son, keep good sense, and do not let wise purpose go from your eyes.
3:22	[hgb]	这样，他必作你的生命，颈项的美饰。
	[bbe]	So they will be life for your soul, and grace for your neck.
3:23	[hgb]	你就坦然行路，不至碰脚。
	[bbe]	Then you will go safely on your way, and your feet will have no cause for slipping.
3:24	[hgb]	你躺下，必不惧怕。你躺卧，睡得香甜。
	[bbe]	When you take your rest you will have no fear, and on your bed sleep will be sweet to you.
3:25	[hgb]	忽然来的惊恐，不要害怕。恶人遭毁灭，也不要恐惧。
	[bbe]	Have no fear of sudden danger, or of the storm which will come on evil-doers:
3:26	[hgb]	因为耶和华是你所倚靠的。他必保守你的脚不陷入网罗。
	[bbe]	For the Lord will be your hope, and will keep your foot from being taken in the net.
3:27	[hgb]	你手若有行善的力量，不可推辞，就当向那应得的人施行。
	[bbe]	Do not keep back good from those who have a right to it, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
3:28	[hgb]	你那里若有现成的，不可对邻舍说，去吧，明天再来，我必给你。
	[bbe]	Say not to your neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it by you at the time.
3:29	[hgb]	你的邻舍，既在你附近安居，你不可设计害他。
	[bbe]	Do not make evil designs against your neighbour, when he is living with you without fear.
3:30	[hgb]	人未曾加害与你，不可无故与他相争。
	[bbe]	Do not take up a cause at law against a man for nothing, if he has done you no wrong.
3:31	[hgb]	不可嫉妒强暴的人，也不可选择他所行的路。
	[bbe]	Have no envy of the violent man, or take any of his ways as an example.
3:32	[hgb]	因为乖僻人为耶和华所憎恶。正直人为他所亲密。
	[bbe]	For the wrong-hearted man is hated by the Lord, but he is a friend to the upright.
3:33	[hgb]	耶和华咒诅恶人的家庭，赐福与义人的居所。
	[bbe]	The curse of the Lord is on the house of the evil-doer, but his blessing is on the tent of the upright.
3:34	[hgb]	他讥诮那好讥诮的人，赐恩给谦卑的人。
	[bbe]	He makes sport of the men of pride, but he gives grace to the gentle-hearted.
3:35	[hgb]	智慧人必承受尊荣。愚昧人高升也成为羞辱。
	[bbe]	The wise will have glory for their heritage, but shame will be the reward of the foolish.
