诗篇 Psalms

49:1	[hgb]	（可拉后裔的诗，交与伶长。）万民哪，你们都当听这话，世上一切的居民，
	[bbe]	<Alamoth. To the chief music-maker. Of the sons of Korah. A Psalm.> Give attention to this, all you peoples; let your ears be open, all you who are living in the world.
49:2	[hgb]	无论上流下流，富足贫穷，都当留心听。
	[bbe]	High and low together, the poor, and those who have wealth.
49:3	[hgb]	我口要说智慧的言语。我心要想通达的道理。
	[bbe]	From my mouth will come words of wisdom; and in the thoughts of my heart will be knowledge.
49:4	[hgb]	我要侧耳听比喻，用琴解谜语。
	[bbe]	I will put my teaching into a story; I will make my dark sayings clear with music.
49:5	[hgb]	在患难的日子，奸恶随我脚跟，四面环绕我，我何必惧怕。
	[bbe]	What cause have I for fear in the days of evil, when the evil-doing of those who are working for my downfall is round about me?
49:6	[hgb]	那些倚仗财货自夸钱财多的人，
	[bbe]	Even of those whose faith is in their wealth, and whose hearts are lifted up because of their stores.
49:7	[hgb]	一个也无法赎自己的弟兄，也不能替他将赎价给神，
	[bbe]	Truly, no man may get back his soul for a price, or give to God the payment for himself;
49:8	[hgb]	叫他长远活着，不见朽坏。因为赎他生命的价值极贵，只可永远罢休。
	[bbe]	(Because it takes a great price to keep his soul from death, and man is not able to give it.)
49:9	[hgb]
	[bbe]	So that he might have eternal life, and never see the underworld.
49:10	[hgb]	他必见智慧人死。又见愚顽人和畜类人，一同灭亡，将他们的财货留给别人。
	[bbe]	For he sees that wise men come to their end, and foolish persons of low behaviour come to destruction together, letting their wealth go to others.
49:11	[hgb]	他们心里思想，他们的家室必永存，住宅必留到万代。他们以自己的名，称自己的地。
	[bbe]	The place of the dead is their house for ever, and their resting-place through all generations; those who come after them give their names to their lands.
49:12	[hgb]	但人居尊贵中不能长久，如同死亡的畜类一样。
	[bbe]	But man, like the animals, does not go on for ever; he comes to an end like the beasts.
49:13	[hgb]	他们行的这道，本为自己的愚昧。但他们以后的人，还佩服他们的话语。（细拉）。
	[bbe]	This is the way of the foolish; their silver is for those who come after them, and their children get the pleasure of their gold. (Selah.)
49:14	[hgb]	他们如同羊群派定下阴间。死亡必作他们的牧者。到了早晨，正直人必管辖他们。他们的美容，必被阴间所灭，以致无处可存。
	[bbe]	Death will give them their food like sheep; the underworld is their fate and they will go down into it; their flesh is food for worms; their form is wasted away; the underworld is their resting-place for ever.
49:15	[hgb]	只是神必救赎我的灵魂，脱离阴间的权柄，因他必收纳我。（细拉）
	[bbe]	But God will get back my soul; for he will take me from the power of death. (Selah.)
49:16	[hgb]	见人发财家室增荣的时候，你不要惧怕。
	[bbe]	Have no fear when wealth comes to a man, and the glory of his house is increased;
49:17	[hgb]	因为他死的时候，什么也不能带去。他的荣耀不能随他下去。
	[bbe]	For at his death, he will take nothing away; his glory will not go down after him.
49:18	[hgb]	他活着的时候，虽然自夸为有福，（你若利己，人必夸奖你）。
	[bbe]	Though he might have pride in his soul in his life-time, and men will give you praise if you do well for yourself,
49:19	[hgb]	他仍必归到他历代的祖宗那里，永不见光。
	[bbe]	He will go to the generation of his fathers; he will not see the light again.
49:20	[hgb]	人在尊贵中，而不醒悟，就如死亡的畜类一样。
	[bbe]	Man, like the animals, does not go on for ever; he comes to an end like the beasts.
