REFERENCE AHAB'S RELATIVES
I Kings 16:29 And in the thirty and eighth year of Asa king of Judah began Ahab the son of Omri to reign over Israel: and Ahab the son of Omri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty and two years. (Ahab was a king of Israel and he was the son of Omri.)
I Kings 16:31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and worshipped him. (Ahab's wife)
I Kings 22:51-52 [22:51] Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel. [22:52] And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the way of his father, and in the way of his mother, and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin: (Ahab's son)
II Kings 3:1-2 [3:1] Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years. [3:2] And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made. (Ahab's son)
II Kings 8:16-18 [8:16] And in the fifth year of Joram the son of Ahab king of Israel, Jehoshaphat being then king of Judah, Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah began to reign. [8:17] Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign; and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem. [8:18] And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did the house of Ahab: for the daughter of Ahab was his wife: and he did evil in the sight of the LORD. (Joram, the son of Ahab, was also called Jehoram in II Kings 3:1 above. Jehoram, the son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, was Ahab's son-in-law. Although she is not named in the Bible, a daughter of Ahab is mentioned here.)
II Kings 8:26-27 [8:26] Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Athaliah, the daughter of Omri king of Israel. [8:27] And he walked in the way of the house of Ahab, and did evil in the sight of the LORD, as did the house of Ahab: for he was the son in law of the house of Ahab . (Ahaziah may have been married to yet another daughter of Ahab.)
