REFERENCE CIVIL WAR (JUDAH & ISRAEL)
II Samuel 18:7, 14 [18:7} Where the people of Israel were slain before the servants of David, and there was there a great slaughter that day of twenty thousand men. [18:14] Then said Joab, I may not tarry thus with thee. And he took three darts in his hand, and thrust them through the heart of Absalom, while he was yet alive in the midst of the oak. (The battle of Mt. Ephraim, Absolam killed & 20,000 of Israel)
I Kings 16:21-23 [16:21] Then were the people of Israel divided into two parts : half of the people followed Tibni the son of Ginath, to make him king; and half followed Omri. [16:22] But the people that followed Omri prevailed against the people that followed Tibni the son of Ginath: so Tibni died, and Omri reigned. [16:23] In the thirty and first year of Asa king of Judah began Omri to reign over Israel, twelve years: six years reigned he in Tirzah.
II Kings 14:12-13 [14:12] And Judah was put to the worse before Israel; and they fled every man to their tents. [14:13] And Jehoash king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Jehoash the son of Ahaziah, at Beth-shemesh, and came to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim unto the corner gate, four hundred cubits. (Joash, king of Israel & Amaziah, king of Judah)
II Kings 16:5 Then Rezin king of Syria and Pekah son of Remaliah king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to war: and they besieged Ahaz, but could not overcome him.
II Chronicles 25:13 But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Beth-horon, and smote three thousand of them, and took much spoil. (Israel smote 3,000 of Judah)
II Chronicles 13:15-17 [13:15] Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah. [13:16] And the children of Israel fled before Judah: and God delivered them into their hand. [13:17] And Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.
II Chronicles 25:21-24 [25:21] So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah. [25:22] And Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent. [25:23] And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits. [25:24] And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obededom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria. (Israel smote Judah)
II Chronicles 28:6, 8 [28:6] For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. [28:8] And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria. (Israel smote Judah & Ahaz)
Isaiah 7:1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.
