[Genesis 41:46] And Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. And Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt. [Number 4:3] From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation. [II Samuel 5:4] David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. I Samuel 23:17

And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth. (Jonathan must have know that Samuel had anointed David to be king of Judah)

II Samuel 1:26
