REFERENCE JESUS' APPEARANCES AFTER HIS ASCENSION
Acts 7:55-56 [7:55] But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, [7:56] And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. (Stephen saw Jesus)
Acts 10:3-4 [10:3] He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. [10:4] And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. (Perhaps this was Jesus speaking, since He did not correct Cornelius for calling Him Lord. It seems that someone who was just an angel would have corrected Cornelius.)
Acts 22:17-21 [22:17] And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance; [22:18] And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me. [22:19] And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee: [22:20] And when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him. [22:21] An d he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.
Acts 23:11 And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.
Revelation 1:12-18 [1:12] And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; [1:13] And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man , clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. [1:14] His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; [1:15] And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. [1:16] And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. [1:17] And when I saw him , I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: [1:18] I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death
