|Genesis 40:19, 22, 41:13
|[40:19] Yet within three days shall Pharao h lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee. [40:22] But he hanged the chief baker : as Joseph had interpreted to them. [41:13] And it came to pass, as he interpreted to us, so it was; me he restored unto mine office, and him he hanged .

[10:26] And afterward Joshua smote them, and slew them, and hanged them on five trees: and they were hanging upon the trees until the evening.

|[21:12] And David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabeshgilead, which had stolen them from the street of Beth-shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa: [21:13] And he brought up from thence the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son; and they gathered the bones of them that were hanged.

|Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends unto him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and to morrow speak thou unto the king that Mordecai may be hanged thereon: then go thou in merrily with the king unto the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
|And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him.
|[7:9] And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon. [7:10] So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then was the king's wrath pacified.
|Then the king Ahasuerus said unto Esther the queen and to Mordecai the Jew, Behold, I have given Esther the house of Haman, and him they have hanged upon the gallows, because he laid his hand upon the Jews.

|But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.
|And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself. (Judas)
