KINGS OF ISRAEL & JUDAH AS ONE KINGDOM

I Samuel 10:24, 11:15, I Chronicles 10:13-14

[I Samuel 10:24] And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king. [11:15] And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly. [I Chronicles 10:13] So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; [10:14] And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

II Samuel 5:4, 8:15, I Kings 2:11, I Chronicles 18:14, 29:26, Acts 13:22

[II Samuel 5:4] David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years. [8:15] And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people. [I Kings 2:11] And the days that David reigned over Israel were forty years : seven years reigned he in Hebron, and thirty and three years reigned he in Jerusalem. [I Chronicles 18:14] So David reigned over all Israel, and executed judgment and justice among all his people. [29:26] Thus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel. [Acts 13:22] And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart , which shall fulfil all my will. (40 years)

I Kings 1:39, 4:21, 11:42, II Chronicles 9:22-23

[I Kings 1:39] And Zadok the priest took an horn of oil out of the tabernacle, and anointed Solomon. And they blew the trumpet; and all the people said, God save king Solomon. [4:21] And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life. [11:42] And the time that Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel was forty years . [II Chronicles 9:22] And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom. [9:23] And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear his wisdom, that God had put in his heart. (40 years)
