Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee .
Matthew 19:5-6 [19:5] And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? [19:6] Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. (No such instructions are given to the woman.)
I Corinthians 7:3-4 [7:3] Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. [7:4] The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
I Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Ephesians 5:22-24 [5:22] Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. [5:23] For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. [5:24] Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
Ephesians 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
I Timothy 2:13-14 [2:13] For Adam was first formed , then Eve. [2:14] And Adam was not deceived , but the woman being deceived was in the transgression .
I Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife , vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
I Timothy 3:12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
I Peter 3:7 Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
