REFERENCE THE FIRST LIES
Genesis 3:1, 2:16-17 [3:1] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden ? (This is the first lie and it was told by Satan) [2:16] And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [2:17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it : for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (God did not tell Adam to not eat of the Tree of Life.)
Genesis 3:3, 2:17 [3:2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: [3:3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it , lest ye die. (This was the second lie, and it was told by Eve.) [2:17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it : for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. (God did not say not to touch the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, He just said not to eat it!)
Genesis 3:4 [3:4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die : (This is the third lie and it was told by Satan.) [2:16] And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: [2:17] But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die .
