以西結書 Ezekiel

19:1	[hb5]	你當為以色列的王作起哀歌、
	[kjv]	Moreover take thou up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,
	[bbe]	Take up now a song of grief for the ruler of Israel, and say,
19:2	[hb5]	說、你的母親是甚麼呢、是個母獅子．蹲伏在獅子中間、在少壯獅子中養育小獅子。
	[kjv]	And say, What is thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.
	[bbe]	What was your mother? Like a she-lion among lions, stretched out among the young lions she gave food to her little ones.
19:3	[hb5]	在他小獅子中養大一個、成了少壯獅子、學會抓食而喫人。
	[kjv]	And she brought up one of her whelps: it became a young lion, and it learned to catch the prey; it devoured men.
	[bbe]	And one of her little ones came to growth under her care, and became a young lion, learning to go after beasts for his food; and he took men for his meat.
19:4	[hb5]	列國聽見了、就把他捉在他們的坑中、用鉤子拉到埃及地去。
	[kjv]	The nations also heard of him; he was taken in their pit, and they brought him with chains unto the land of Egypt.
	[bbe]	And the nations had news of him; he was taken in the hole they had made: and, pulling him with hooks, they took him into the land of Egypt.
19:5	[hb5]	母獅見自己等候失了指望、就從他小獅子中又將一個養為少壯獅子。
	[kjv]	Now when she saw that she had waited, and her hope was lost, then she took another of her whelps, and made him a young lion.
	[bbe]	Now when she saw that her hope was made foolish and gone, she took another of her little ones and made him into a young lion.
19:6	[hb5]	他在眾獅子中走來走去、成了少壯獅子、學會抓食而喫人。
	[kjv]	And he went up and down among the lions, he became a young lion, and learned to catch the prey, and devoured men.
	[bbe]	And he went up and down among the lions and became a young lion, learning to go after beasts for his food; and he took men for his meat.
19:7	[hb5]	他知道列國的宮殿、又使他們的城邑變為荒場、因他咆哮的聲音、遍地和其中所有的就都荒廢。
	[kjv]	And he knew their desolate palaces, and he laid waste their cities; and the land was desolate, and the fulness thereof, by the noise of his roaring.
	[bbe]	And he sent destruction on their widows and made waste their towns; and the land and everything in it became waste because of the loud sound of his voice.
19:8	[hb5]	於是四圍邦國各省的人來攻擊他、將網撒在他身上、捉在他們的坑中。
	[kjv]	Then the nations set against him on every side from the provinces, and spread their net over him: he was taken in their pit.
	[bbe]	Then the nations came against him from the kingdoms round about: their net was stretched over him and he was taken in the hole they had made.
19:9	[hb5]	他們用鉤子鉤住他、將他放在籠中、帶到巴比倫王那裡、將他放入堅固之所、使他的聲音在以色列山上不再聽見。
	[kjv]	And they put him in ward in chains, and brought him to the king of Babylon: they brought him into holds, that his voice should no more be heard upon the mountains of Israel.
	[bbe]	They made him a prisoner with hooks, and took him to the king of Babylon; they put him in the strong place so that his voice might be sounding no longer on the mountains of Israel.
19:10	[hb5]	你的母親先前如葡萄樹、極其茂盛、〔原文作在你血中〕栽於水旁、因為水多、就多結果子、滿生枝子。
	[kjv]	Thy mother is like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.
	[bbe]	Your mother was in comparison like a vine, planted by the waters: she was fertile and full of branches because of the great waters.
19:11	[hb5]	生出堅固的枝榦、可作掌權者的杖、這枝榦高舉在茂密的枝中、而且他生長高大、枝子繁多．遠遠可見。
	[kjv]	And she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.
	[bbe]	And she had a strong rod for a rod of authority for the rulers, and it became tall among the clouds and it was seen lifted up among the number of its branches.
19:12	[hb5]	但這葡萄樹、因忿怒被拔出摔在地上、東風吹乾其上的果子、堅固的枝榦折斷枯乾、被火燒燬了。
	[kjv]	But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.
	[bbe]	But she was uprooted in burning wrath, and made low on the earth; the east wind came, drying her up, and her branches were broken off; her strong rod became dry, the fire made a meal of it.
19:13	[hb5]	如今栽於曠野乾旱無水之地。
	[kjv]	And now she is planted in the wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground.
	[bbe]	And now she is planted in the waste land, in a dry and unwatered country.
19:14	[hb5]	火也從他枝榦中發出燒滅果子、以致沒有堅固的枝榦可作掌權者的杖．這是哀歌、也必用以作哀歌。
	[kjv]	And fire is gone out of a rod of her branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she hath no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a lamentation.
	[bbe]	And fire has gone out from her rod, causing the destruction of her branches, so that there is no strong rod in her to be the ruler's rod of authority. This is a song of grief, and it was for a song of grief.
