12:1	[hb5]	逾越節前六日、耶穌來到伯大尼、就是他叫拉撒路從死裡復活之處。
	[kjv]	Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
	[bbe]	Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had made to come back from the dead.
12:2	[hb5]	有人在那裡給耶穌預備筵席．馬大伺候、拉撒路也在那同耶穌坐席的人中。
	[kjv]	There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.
	[bbe]	So they made him a meal there, and he was waited on by Martha, and Lazarus was among those who were seated with him at table.
12:3	[hb5]	馬利亞就拿著一斤極貴的真哪噠香膏、抹耶穌的腳、又用自己頭髮去擦．屋裡就滿了膏的香氣。
	[kjv]	Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.
	[bbe]	Then Mary, taking a pound of perfumed oil of great value, put it on the feet of Jesus and made them dry with her hair: and the house became full of the smell of the perfume.
12:4	[hb5]	有一個門徒、就是那將要賣耶穌的加略人猶大、
	[kjv]	Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,
	[bbe]	But one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot (who was to give him up), said,
12:5	[hb5]	說、這香膏為甚麼不賣三十兩銀子賙濟窮人呢。
	[kjv]	Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?
	[bbe]	Why was not this perfume traded for three hundred pence, and the money given to the poor?
12:6	[hb5]	他說這話、並不是掛念窮人、乃因他是個賊、又帶著錢囊、常取其中所存的。
	[kjv]	This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.
	[bbe]	(He said this, not because he had any love for the poor; but because he was a thief, and, having the money-bag, took for himself what was put into it.)
12:7	[hb5]	耶穌說、由他罷、他是為我安葬之日存留的。
	[kjv]	Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this.
	[bbe]	Then Jesus said, Let her be. Let her keep what she has for the day of my death.
12:8	[hb5]	因為常有窮人和你們同在．只是你們不常有我。
	[kjv]	For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
	[bbe]	The poor you have ever with you, but me you have not for ever.
12:9	[hb5]	有許多猶太人知道耶穌在那裡、就來了、不但是為耶穌的緣故、也是要看他從死裡所復活的拉撒路。
	[kjv]	Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.
	[bbe]	Then a great number of the Jews had news that he was there: and they came, not only because of Jesus, but so that they might see Lazarus who had been dead and to whom he had given life.
12:10	[hb5]	但祭司長商議連拉撒路也要殺了．
	[kjv]	But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
	[bbe]	Now there was talk among the chief priests of putting Lazarus to death;
12:11	[hb5]	因有好些猶太人、為拉撒路的緣故、回去信了耶穌。
	[kjv]	Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.
	[bbe]	For because of him a great number of the Jews went away and had belief in Jesus.
12:12	[hb5]	第二天有許多上來過節的人、聽見耶穌將到耶路撒冷、
	[kjv]	On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
	[bbe]	The day after, a great number of people who were there for the feast, when they had the news that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
12:13	[hb5]	就拿著棕樹枝、出去迎接他、喊著說、和散那、奉主名來的以色列王、是應當稱頌的。
	[kjv]	Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
	[bbe]	Took branches of palm-trees and went out to him, crying, A blessing on him who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!
12:14	[hb5]	耶穌得了一個驢駒、就騎上．如經上所記的說、
	[kjv]	And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,
	[bbe]	And Jesus saw a young ass and took his seat on it; as the Writings say,
12:15	[hb5]	『錫安的民哪、〔民原文作女子〕不要懼怕、你的王騎著驢駒來了。』
	[kjv]	Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass's colt.
	[bbe]	Have no fear, daughter of Zion: see your King is coming, seated on a young ass.
12:16	[hb5]	這些事門徒起先不明白．等到耶穌得了榮耀以後、纔想起這話是指著他寫的、並且眾人果然向他這樣行了。
	[kjv]	These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.
	[bbe]	(These things were not clear to his disciples at first: but when Jesus had been lifted up into his glory, then it came to their minds that these things in the Writings were about him and that they had been done to him.)
12:17	[hb5]	當耶穌呼喚拉撒路叫他從死復活出墳墓的時候、同耶穌在那裡的眾人、就作見證。
	[kjv]	The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.
	[bbe]	Now the people who were with him when his voice came to Lazarus in the place of the dead, and gave him life again, had been talking about it.
12:18	[hb5]	眾人因聽見耶穌行了這神蹟、就去迎接他。
	[kjv]	For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.
	[bbe]	And that was the reason the people went out to him, because it had come to their ears that he had done this sign.
12:19	[hb5]	法利賽人彼此說、看哪、你們是徒勞無益、世人都隨從他去了。
	[kjv]	The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
	[bbe]	Then the Pharisees said one to another, You see, you are unable to do anything: the world has gone after him.
12:20	[hb5]	那時、上來過節禮拜的人中、有幾個希利尼人。
	[kjv]	And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:
	[bbe]	Now there were some Greeks among the people who had come up to give worship at the feast:
12:21	[hb5]	他們來見加利利伯賽大的腓力、求他說、先生、我們願意見耶穌。
	[kjv]	The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.
	[bbe]	They came to Philip, who was of Beth-saida in Galilee, and made a request, saying, Sir, we have a desire to see Jesus.
12:22	[hb5]	腓力去告訴安得烈、安得烈同腓力去告訴耶穌。
	[kjv]	Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.
	[bbe]	Philip went and gave word of it to Andrew; and Andrew went with Philip to Jesus.
12:23	[hb5]	耶穌說、人子得榮耀的時候到了。
	[kjv]	And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.
	[bbe]	And Jesus said to them in answer, The hour of the glory of the Son of man has come.
12:24	[hb5]	我實實在在的告訴你們、一粒麥子不落在地裡死了、仍舊是一粒．若是死了、就結出許多子粒來。
	[kjv]	Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
	[bbe]	Truly I say to you, If a seed of grain does not go into the earth and come to an end, it is still a seed and no more; but through its death it gives much fruit.
12:25	[hb5]	愛惜自己生命的、就失喪生命．在這世上恨惡自己生命的、就要保守生命到永生。
	[kjv]	He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
	[bbe]	He who is in love with life will have it taken from him; and he who has no care for his life in this world will keep it for ever and ever.
12:26	[hb5]	若有人服事我、就當跟從我．我在那裡、服事我的人、也要在那裡．若有人服事我、我父必尊重他。
	[kjv]	If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
	[bbe]	If any man is my servant, let him come after me; and where I am, there will my servant be. If any man becomes my servant, my Father will give him honour.
12:27	[hb5]	我現在心裡憂愁、我說甚麼纔好呢．父阿、救我脫離這時候．但我原是為這時候來的。
	[kjv]	Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
	[bbe]	Now is my soul troubled; and what am I to say? Father, keep me from this hour. No: for this purpose have I come to this hour.
12:28	[hb5]	父阿、願你榮耀你的名．當時就有聲音從天上來說、我已經榮耀了我的名、還要再榮耀。
	[kjv]	Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
	[bbe]	Father, give glory to your name. Then there came a voice out of heaven, saying, I have given it glory, and I will give it glory again.
12:29	[hb5]	站在旁邊的眾人聽見、就說、打雷了．還有人說、有天使對他說話。
	[kjv]	The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
	[bbe]	Hearing the sound, a number of people who were there said that it was thunder: others said, An angel was talking to him.
12:30	[hb5]	耶穌說、這聲音不是為我、是為你們來的。
	[kjv]	Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
	[bbe]	Jesus said in answer, This voice came not for me but for you.
12:31	[hb5]	現在這世界受審判．這世界的王要被趕出去。
	[kjv]	Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
	[bbe]	Now is this world to be judged: now will the ruler of this world be sent out.
12:32	[hb5]	我若從地上被舉起來、就要吸引萬人來歸我。
	[kjv]	And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
	[bbe]	And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will make all men come to me.
12:33	[hb5]	耶穌這話原是指著自己將要怎樣死說的。
	[kjv]	This he said, signifying what death he should die.
	[bbe]	(This he said, pointing to the sort of death he would have.)
12:34	[hb5]	眾人回答說、我們聽見律法上有話說基督是永存的．你怎麼說人子必須被舉起來呢．這人子是誰呢。
	[kjv]	The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?
	[bbe]	Then the people in answer said to him, The law says that the Christ will have life without end: how say you then that it is necessary for the Son of man to be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?
12:35	[hb5]	耶穌對他們說、光在你們中間、還有不多的時候、應當趁著有光行走、免得黑暗臨到你們．那在黑暗裡行走的、不知道往何處去。
	[kjv]	Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
	[bbe]	Jesus said to them, For a little time longer the light will be among you; while you have the light go on walking in it, so that the dark may not overtake you: one walking in the dark has no knowledge of where he is going.
12:36	[hb5]	你們應當趁著有光、信從這光、使你們成為光明之子。耶穌說了這話、就離開他們、隱藏了。
	[kjv]	While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
	[bbe]	In so far as you have the light, put your faith in the light so that you may become sons of light. With these words Jesus went away and for a time was not seen again by them.
12:37	[hb5]	他雖然在他們面前行了許多神蹟、他們還是不信他。
	[kjv]	But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
	[bbe]	But though he had done such a number of signs before them, they still had no belief in him:
12:38	[hb5]	這是要應驗先知以賽亞的話、說、『主阿、我們所傳的、有誰信呢．主的膀臂向誰顯露呢。』
	[kjv]	That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
	[bbe]	So that the words of the prophet Isaiah might come true, when he said, Lord, who has any belief in our preaching? and the arm of the Lord, to whom has it been unveiled?
12:39	[hb5]	他們所以不能信、因為以賽亞又說、
	[kjv]	Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
	[bbe]	For this reason they were unable to have belief, because Isaiah said again,
12:40	[hb5]	『主叫他們瞎了眼、硬了心、免得他們眼睛看見、心裡明白、回轉過來、我就醫治他們。』
	[kjv]	He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
	[bbe]	He has made their eyes blind, and their hearts hard; for fear that they might see with their eyes and get knowledge with their hearts, and be changed, and I might make them well.
12:41	[hb5]	以賽亞因為看見他的榮耀、就指著他說這話。
	[kjv]	These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.
	[bbe]	(Isaiah said these words because he saw his glory. His words were about him.)
12:42	[hb5]	雖然如此、官長中卻有好些信他的．只因法利賽人的緣故、就不承認、恐怕被趕出會堂。
	[kjv]	Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:
	[bbe]	However, a number even of the rulers had belief in him, but because of the Pharisees they did not say so openly for fear that they might be shut out from the Synagogue:
12:43	[hb5]	這是因他們愛人的榮耀、過於愛　神的榮耀。
	[kjv]	For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
	[bbe]	For the praise of men was dearer to them than the approval of God.
12:44	[hb5]	耶穌大聲說、信我的、不是信我、乃是信那差我來的。
	[kjv]	Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me.
	[bbe]	Then Jesus said with a loud voice, He who has faith in me, has faith not in me, but in him who sent me.
12:45	[hb5]	人看見我、就是看見那差我來的。
	[kjv]	And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.
	[bbe]	And he who sees me, sees him who sent me.
12:46	[hb5]	我到世上來、乃是光、叫凡信我的不住在黑暗裡。
	[kjv]	I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
	[bbe]	I have come as a light into the world, so that no one who has faith in me will go on living in the dark.
12:47	[hb5]	若有人聽見我的話不遵守、我不審判他．我來本不是要審判世界、乃是要拯救世界。
	[kjv]	And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
	[bbe]	And if any man gives ear to my words and does not keep them, I am not his judge: I did not come to be judge of the world but to give salvation to the world.
12:48	[hb5]	棄絕我不領受我話的人、有審判他的．就是我所講的道、在末日要審判他。
	[kjv]	He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
	[bbe]	He who puts me on one side and does not take my words to heart, is not without a judge: the word which I have said will be his judge on the last day.
12:49	[hb5]	因為我沒有憑著自己講．惟有差我來的父、已經給我命令、叫我說甚麼、講甚麼。
	[kjv]	For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
	[bbe]	For I have not said it on my authority, but the Father who sent me gave me orders what to say and how to say it.
12:50	[hb5]	我也知道他的命令就是永生．故此我所講的話、正是照著父對我所說的。
	[kjv]	And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
	[bbe]	And I have knowledge that his order is eternal life: so that the things which I say, I say them even as the Father says them to me.
