17:1[hb5] 耶 和 華 對 摩 西 說 、
   [kjv] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
   [bbe] And the Lord said to Moses,
17:2[hb5] 你 曉 諭 亞 倫 和 他 兒 子 並 以 色 列 眾 人 、 說 、 耶 和 華 所 吩 咐 的 、 乃 是 這 樣 ．
   [kjv] Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,
   [bbe] Say to Aaron and to his sons and to all the children of Israel: This is the order which the Lord has given.
17:3[hb5] 凡 以 色 列 家 中 的 人 、 宰 公 牛 、 或 是 綿 羊 羔 、 或 是 山 羊 、 不 拘 宰 於 營 內 營 外 、
   [kjv] What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
   [bbe] If any man of Israel puts to death an ox or a lamb or a goat, in or outside the tent-circle;
17:4[hb5] 若 未 曾 牽 到 會 幕 門 口 、 耶 和 華 的 帳 幕 前 、 獻 給 耶 和 華 為 供 物 、 流 血 的 罪 必 歸 到 那 人 身 上 ． 他 流 了 血 、 要 從 民 中 剪 除 。
   [kjv] And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
   [bbe] And has not taken it to the door of the Tent of meeting, to make an offering to the Lord, before the Lord's House, its blood will be on him, for he has taken life, and he will be cut off from among his people:
17:5[hb5] 這 是 為 要 使 以 色 列 人 、 把 他 們 在 田 野 裡 所 獻 的 祭 、 帶 到 會 幕 門 口 、 耶 和 華 面 前 、 交 給 祭 司 、 獻 與 耶 和 華 為 平 安 祭 。
   [kjv] To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
   [bbe] So that the children of Israel may take to the Lord, to the door of the Tent of meeting and to the priest, the offerings which they have put to death in the open country, and that they may make their peace-offerings to the Lord.
17:6[hb5] 祭 司 要 把 血 灑 在 會 幕 門 口 耶 和 華 的 壇 上 、 把 脂 油 焚 燒 、 獻 給 耶 和 華 為 馨 香 的 祭 。
   [kjv] And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
   [bbe] And the priest will put blood on the altar of the Lord at the door of the Tent of meeting, burning the fat for a sweet smell to the Lord.
17:7[hb5] 他 們 不 可 再 獻 祭 給 他 們 行 邪 淫 所 隨 從 的 鬼 魔 ． 〔 原 文 作 公 山 羊 〕 這 要 作 他 們 世 世 代 代 永 遠 的 定 例 。
   [kjv] And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
   [bbe] And let them make no more offerings to evil spirits, after which they have gone, turning away from the Lord. Let this be a law to them for ever, through all their generations.
17:8[hb5] 你 要 曉 諭 他 們 說 、 凡 以 色 列 家 中 的 人 、 或 是 寄 居 在 他 們 中 間 的 外 人 、 獻 燔 祭 、 或 是 平 安 祭 、
   [kjv] And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
   [bbe] And say to them, If any man of Israel, or any other living among them, makes a burned offering or other offering,
17:9[hb5] 若 不 帶 到 會 幕 門 口 獻 給 耶 和 華 、 那 人 必 從 民 中 剪 除 。
   [kjv] And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
   [bbe] And does not take it to the door of the Tent of meeting to make an offering to the Lord, that man will be cut off from among his people.
17:10[hb5] 凡 以 色 列 家 中 的 人 、 或 是 寄 居 在 他 們 中 間 的 外 人 、 若 喫 甚 麼 血 、 我 必 向 那 喫 血 的 人 變 臉 、 把 他 從 民 中 剪 除 。
   [kjv] And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
   [bbe] And if any man of Israel, or any other living among them, takes any sort of blood for food, my wrath will be turned against that man and he will be cut off from among his people.
17:11[hb5] 因 為 活 物 的 生 命 是 在 血 中 ． 我 把 這 血 賜 給 你 們 、 可 以 在 壇 上 為 你 們 的 生 命 贖 罪 ． 因 血 裡 有 生 命 、 所 以 能 贖 罪 ．
   [kjv] For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
   [bbe] For the life of the flesh is in its blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to take away your sin: for it is the blood which makes free from sin because of the life in it.
17:12[hb5] 因 此 我 對 以 色 列 人 說 、 你 們 都 不 可 喫 血 、 寄 居 在 你 們 中 間 的 外 人 、 也 不 可 喫 血 。
   [kjv] Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
   [bbe] For this reason I have said to the children of Israel, No man among you, or any others living with you, may take blood as food.
17:13[hb5] 凡 以 色 列 人 、 或 是 寄 居 在 他 們 中 間 的 外 人 、 若 打 獵 得 了 可 喫 的 禽 獸 、 必 放 出 他 的 血 來 、 用 土 掩 蓋 。
   [kjv] And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
   [bbe] And any man of Israel, or any other living among them, who gets with his bow any beast or bird used for food, is to see that its blood is covered with earth.
17:14[hb5] 論 到 一 切 活 物 的 生 命 、 就 在 血 中 、 所 以 我 對 以 色 列 人 說 、 無 論 甚 麼 活 物 的 血 、 你 們 都 不 可 喫 、 因 為 一 切 活 物 的 血 、 就 是 他 的 生 命 ． 凡 喫 了 血 的 、 必 被 剪 除 。
   [kjv] For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
   [bbe] For the blood is the life of all flesh: and so I have said to the children of Israel, You may not take any sort of blood as food, and any man who does so will be cut of.
17:15[hb5] 凡 喫 自 死 的 、 或 是 被 野 獸 撕 裂 的 、 無 論 是 本 地 人 、 是 寄 居 的 、 必 不 潔 淨 到 晚 上 、 都 要 洗 衣 服 、 用 水 洗 身 ． 到 了 晚 上 、 纔 為 潔 淨 。
   [kjv] And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
   [bbe] And anyone who takes as food anything which has come to a natural end, or anything which has been put to death by beasts, if he is one of you by birth, or of another nation, will have to have his clothing washed and his body bathed in water and be unclean till evening, and then he will be clean.
17:16[hb5] 但 他 若 不 洗 衣 服 、 也 不 洗 身 、 就 必 擔 當 他 的 罪 孽 。
   [kjv] But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
   [bbe] But if his clothing is not washed and his body bathed, his sin will be on him.
