   [kjv] The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
   [bbe] The book of the generations of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
1:2[hgb] 亚 伯 拉 罕 生 以 撒 。 以 撒 生 雅 各 。 雅 各 生 犹 大 和 他 的 弟 兄 。
   [kjv] Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
   [bbe] The son of Abraham was Isaac; and the son of Isaac was Jacob; and the sons of Jacob were Judah and his brothers;
1:3[hgb] 犹 大 从 他 玛 氏 生 法 勒 斯 和 谢 拉 。 法 勒 斯 生 希 斯 仑 。 希 斯 仑 生 亚 兰 。
   [kjv] And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
   [bbe] And the sons of Judah were Perez and Zerah by Tamar; and the son of Perez was Hezron; and the son of Hezron was Ram;
1:4[hgb] 亚 兰 生 亚 米 拿 达 。 亚 米 拿 达 生 拿 顺 。 拿 顺 生 撒 门 。
   [kjv] And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
   [bbe] And the son of Ram was Amminadab; and the son of Amminadab was Nahshon; and the son of Nahshon was Salmon;
1:5[hgb] 撒 门 从 喇 合 氏 生 波 阿 斯 。 波 阿 斯 从 路 得 氏 生 俄 备 得 。 俄 备 得 生 耶 西 。
   [kjv] And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
   [bbe] And the son of Salmon by Rahab was Boaz; and the son of Boaz by Ruth was Obed; and the son of Obed was Jesse;
1:6[hgb] 耶 西 生 大 卫 王 。 大 卫 从 乌 利 亚 的 妻 子 生 所 罗 门 。
   [kjv] And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
   [bbe] And the son of Jesse was David the king; and the son of David was Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah;
1:7[hgb] 所 罗 门 生 罗 波 安 。 罗 波 安 生 亚 比 雅 。 亚 比 雅 生 亚 撒 。
   [kjv] And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
   [bbe] And the son of Solomon was Rehoboam; and the son of Rehoboam was Abijah; and the son of Abijah was Asa;
1:8[hgb] 亚 撒 生 约 沙 法 。 约 沙 法 生 约 兰 。 约 兰 生 乌 西 亚 。
   [kjv] And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
   [bbe] And the son of Asa was Jehoshaphat; and the son of Jehoshaphat was Joram; and the son of Joram was Uzziah;
1:9[hgb] 乌 西 亚 生 约 坦 。 约 坦 生 亚 哈 斯 。 亚 哈 斯 生 希 西 家 。
   [kjv] And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
   [bbe] And the son of Uzziah was Jotham; and the son of Jotham was Ahaz; and the son of Ahaz was Hezekiah;
1:10[hgb] 希 西 家 生 玛 拿 西 。 玛 拿 西 生 亚 们 。 亚 们 生 约 西 亚 。
   [kjv] And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
   [bbe] And the son of Hezekiah was Manasseh; and the son of Manasseh was Amon; and the son of Amon was Josiah;
1:11[hgb] 百 姓 被 迁 到 巴 比 伦 的 时 候 ， 约 西 亚 生 耶 哥 尼 雅 和 他 的 弟 兄 。
   [kjv] And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
   [bbe] And the sons of Josiah were Jechoniah and his brothers, at the time of the taking away to Babylon.
1:12[hgb] 迁 到 巴 比 伦 之 后 ， 耶 哥 尼 雅 生 撒 拉 铁 。 撒 拉 铁 生 所 罗 巴 伯 。
   [kjv] And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
   [bbe] And after the taking away to Babylon, Jechoniah had a son Shealtiel; and Shealtiel had Zerubbabel;
1:13[hgb] 所 罗 巴 伯 生 亚 比 玉 。 亚 比 玉 生 以 利 亚 敬 。 以 利 亚 敬 生 亚 所 。
   [kjv] And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
   [bbe] And Zerubbabel had Abiud; and Abiud had Eliakim; and Eliakim had Azor;
1:14[hgb] 亚 所 生 撒 督 。 撒 督 生 亚 金 。 亚 金 生 以 律 。
   [kjv] And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
   [bbe] And Azor had Zadok; and Zadok had Achim; and Achim had Eliud;
1:15[hgb] 以 律 生 以 利 亚 撒 。 以 利 亚 撒 生 马 但 。 马 但 生 雅 各 。
   [kjv] And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
   [bbe] And Eliud had Eleazar; and Eleazar had Matthan; and Matthan had Jacob;
1:16[hgb] 雅 各 生 约 瑟 ， 就 是 马 利 亚 的 丈 夫 。 那 称 为 基 督 的 耶 稣 ， 是 从 马 利 亚 生 的 。
   [kjv] And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
   [bbe] And the son of Jacob was Joseph the husband of Mary, who gave birth to Jesus, whose name is Christ.
1:17[hgb] 这 样 ， 从 亚 伯 拉 罕 到 大 卫 ， 共 有 十 四 代 。 从 大 卫 到 迁 至 巴 比 伦 的 时 候 ， 也 有 十 四 代 。 从 迁 至 巴 比 伦 的 时 候 到 基 督 ， 又 有 十 四 代 。
   [kjv] So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations.
   [bbe] So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David to the taking away to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the taking away to Babylon to the coming of Christ, fourteen generations.
1:18[hgb] 耶 稣 基 督 降 生 的 事 ， 记 在 下 面 。 他 母 亲 马 利 亚 已 经 许 配 了 约 瑟 ， 还 没 有 迎 娶 ， 马 利 亚 就 从 圣 灵 怀 了 孕 。
   [kjv] Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.
   [bbe] Now the birth of Jesus Christ was in this way: when his mother Mary was going to be married to Joseph, before they came together the discovery was made that she was with child by the Holy Spirit.
1:19[hgb] 她 丈 夫 约 瑟 是 个 义 人 ， 不 愿 意 明 明 地 羞 辱 她 ， 想 要 暗 暗 地 把 她 休 了 。
   [kjv] Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily.
   [bbe] And Joseph, her husband, being an upright man, and not desiring to make her a public example, had a mind to put her away privately.
1:20[hgb] 正 思 念 这 事 的 时 候 ， 有 主 的 使 者 向 他 梦 中 显 现 ， 说 大 卫 的 子 孙 约 瑟 ， 不 要 怕 ， 只 管 娶 过 你 的 妻 子 马 利 亚 来 。 因 她 所 怀 的 孕 ， 是 从 圣 灵 来 的 。
   [kjv] But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.
   [bbe] But when he was giving thought to these things, an angel of the Lord came to him in a dream, saying, Joseph, son of David, have no fear of taking Mary as your wife; because that which is in her body is of the Holy Spirit.
1:21[hgb] 她 将 要 生 一 个 儿 子 。 你 要 给 他 起 名 叫 耶 稣 。 因 他 要 将 自 己 的 百 姓 从 罪 恶 里 救 出 来 。
   [kjv] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.
   [bbe] And she will give birth to a son; and you will give him the name Jesus; for he will give his people salvation from their sins.
1:22[hgb] 这 一 切 的 事 成 就 ， 是 要 应 验 主 借 先 知 所 说 的 话 ，
   [kjv] Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
   [bbe] Now all this took place so that the word of the Lord by the prophet might come true,
1:23[hgb] 说 ， 必 有 童 女 ， 怀 孕 生 子 ， 人 要 称 他 的 名 为 以 马 内 利 。 （ 以 马 内 利 翻 出 来 ， 就 是 神 与 我 们 同 在 。 ）
   [kjv] Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
   [bbe] See, the virgin will be with child, and will give birth to a son, and they will give him the name Immanuel, that is, God with us.
1:24[hgb] 约 瑟 醒 了 ， 起 来 ， 就 遵 着 主 使 者 的 吩 咐 ， 把 妻 子 娶 过 来 。
   [kjv] Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
   [bbe] And Joseph did as the angel of the Lord had said to him, and took her as his wife;
1:25[hgb] 只 是 没 有 和 她 同 房 ， 等 她 生 了 儿 子 ， （ 有 古 卷 作 等 她 生 了 头 胎 的 儿 子 ） 就 给 他 起 名 叫 耶 稣 。
   [kjv] And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.
   [bbe] And he had no connection with her till she had given birth to a son; and he gave him the name Jesus.
