阿摩司書 Amos

5:1	[hb5]	以色列家阿、要聽我為你們所作的哀歌。
	[kjv]	Hear ye this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
	[bbe]	Give ear to this word, my song of sorrow over you, O children of Israel.
5:2	[hb5]	以色列民〔原文作處女〕跌倒、不得再起．躺在地上、無人攙扶。
	[kjv]	The virgin of Israel is fallen; she shall no more rise: she is forsaken upon her land; there is none to raise her up.
	[bbe]	The virgin of Israel has been made low, never again to be lifted up: she is stretched out by herself on her land; there is no one to put her on her feet again.
5:3	[hb5]	主耶和華如此說、以色列家的城發出一千兵的、只剩一百、發出一百的、只剩十個。
	[kjv]	For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel.
	[bbe]	For these are the words of the Lord God: The town which was able to send out a thousand, will have only a hundred; and that which sent out a hundred, will have only ten, in Israel.
5:4	[hb5]	耶和華向以色列家如此說、你們要尋求我、就必存活。
	[kjv]	For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
	[bbe]	For these are the words of the Lord to the children of Israel: Let your hearts be turned to me, so that you may have life:
5:5	[hb5]	不要往伯特利尋求、不要進入吉甲、不要過到別是巴．因為吉甲必被擄掠、伯特利也必歸於無有。
	[kjv]	But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
	[bbe]	Do not be looking for help to Beth-el, and do not go to Gilgal, or make your way to Beer-sheba: for Gilgal will certainly be taken prisoner, and Beth-el will come to nothing.
5:6	[hb5]	要尋求耶和華、就必存活．免得他在約瑟家像火發出、在伯特利焚燒、無人撲滅。
	[kjv]	Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
	[bbe]	Go to the Lord for help so that you may have life; for fear that he may come like fire bursting out in the family of Joseph, causing destruction, and there will be no one to put it out in Beth-el.
5:7	[hb5]	你們這使公平變為茵蔯、將公義丟棄於地的、
	[kjv]	Ye who turn judgment to wormwood, and leave off righteousness in the earth,
	[bbe]	You who make the work of judging a bitter thing, crushing down righteousness to the earth;
5:8	[hb5]	要尋求那造昴星和參星、使死蔭變為晨光、使白日變為黑夜、命海水來澆在地上的、（耶和華是他的名）
	[kjv]	Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name:
	[bbe]	Go for help to him who makes Orion and the Pleiades, by whom the deep dark is turned into morning, who makes the day black with night; whose voice goes out to the waters of the sea, sending them out over the face of the earth: the Lord is his name;
5:9	[hb5]	他使力強的忽遭滅亡、以致保障遭遇毀壞。
	[kjv]	That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.
	[bbe]	Who sends sudden destruction on the strong, so that destruction comes on the walled town.
5:10	[hb5]	你們怨恨那在城門口責備人的、憎惡那說正直話的。
	[kjv]	They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
	[bbe]	They have hate for him who makes protest against evil in the public place, and he whose words are upright is disgusting to them.
5:11	[hb5]	你們踐踏貧民、向他們勒索麥子．你們用鑿過的石頭建造房屋、卻不得住在其內、栽種美好的葡萄園、卻不得喝所出的酒。
	[kjv]	Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.
	[bbe]	So because the poor man is crushed under your feet, and you take taxes from him of grain: you have made for yourselves houses of cut stone, but you will not take your rest in them; the fair vine-gardens planted by your hands will not give you wine.
5:12	[hb5]	我知道你們的罪過何等多、你們的罪惡何等大．你們苦待義人、收受賄賂、在城門口屈枉窮乏人。
	[kjv]	For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.
	[bbe]	For I have seen how your evil-doing is increased and how strong are your sins, you troublers of the upright, who take rewards and do wrong to the cause of the poor in the public place.
5:13	[hb5]	所以通達人見這樣的時勢、必靜默不言．因為時勢真惡。
	[kjv]	Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an evil time.
	[bbe]	So the wise will say nothing in that time; for it is an evil time.
5:14	[hb5]	你們要求善、不要求惡、就必存活。這樣、耶和華萬軍之　神必照你們所說的、與你們同在。
	[kjv]	Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
	[bbe]	Go after good and not evil, so that life may be yours: and so the Lord, the God of armies, will be with you, as you say.
5:15	[hb5]	要惡惡好善、在城門口秉公行義．或者耶和華萬軍之　神向約瑟的餘民施恩。
	[kjv]	Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
	[bbe]	Be haters of evil and lovers of good, and let right be done in the public place: it may be that the Lord, the God of armies, will have mercy on the rest of Joseph.
5:16	[hb5]	主耶和華萬軍之　神如此說、在一切寬闊處必有哀號的聲音．在各街市上必有人說、哀哉、哀哉．又必叫農夫來哭號、叫善唱哀歌的來舉哀。
	[kjv]	Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the LORD, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing.
	[bbe]	So these are the words of the Lord, the God of armies, the Lord: There will be weeping in all the open spaces; and in all the streets they will say, Sorrow! sorrow! and they will get in the farmer to the weeping, and the makers of sad songs to give cries of grief.
5:17	[hb5]	在各葡萄園必有哀號的聲音．因為我必從你中間經過．這是耶和華說的。
	[kjv]	And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
	[bbe]	In all the vine-gardens there will be cries of grief: for I will go through among you, says the Lord.
5:18	[hb5]	想望耶和華日子來到的、有禍了．你們為何想望耶和華的日子呢．那日黑暗沒有光明．
	[kjv]	Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.
	[bbe]	Sorrow to you who are looking for the day of the Lord! what is the day of the Lord to you? it is dark and not light.
5:19	[hb5]	景況好像人躲避獅子又遇見熊、或是進房屋以手靠牆、就被蛇咬。
	[kjv]	As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
	[bbe]	As if a man, running away from a lion, came face to face with a bear; or went into the house and put his hand on the wall and got a bite from a snake.
5:20	[hb5]	耶和華的日子、不是黑暗沒有光明麼．不是幽暗毫無光輝麼。
	[kjv]	Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?
	[bbe]	Will not the day of the Lord be dark and not light? even very dark, with no light shining in it?
5:21	[hb5]	我厭惡你們的節期、也不喜悅你們的嚴肅會。
	[kjv]	I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
	[bbe]	Your feasts are disgusting to me, I will have nothing to do with them; I will take no delight in your holy meetings.
5:22	[hb5]	你們雖然向我獻燔祭、和素祭、我卻不悅納．也不顧你們用肥畜獻的平安祭。
	[kjv]	Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
	[bbe]	Even if you give me your burned offerings and your meal offerings, I will not take pleasure in them: I will have nothing to do with the peace-offerings of your fat beasts.
5:23	[hb5]	要使你們歌唱的聲音遠離我．因為我不聽你們彈琴的響聲。
	[kjv]	Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
	[bbe]	Take away from me the noise of your songs; my ears are shut to the melody of your instruments.
5:24	[hb5]	惟願公平如大水滾滾、使公義如江河滔滔。
	[kjv]	But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.
	[bbe]	But let the right go rolling on like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
5:25	[hb5]	以色列家阿、你們在曠野四十年、豈是將祭物和供物獻給我呢。
	[kjv]	Have ye offered unto me sacrifices and offerings in the wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?
	[bbe]	Did you come to me with offerings of beasts and meal offerings in the waste land for forty years, O Israel?
5:26	[hb5]	你們抬著為自己所造之摩洛的帳幕和偶像的龕、並你們的神星。
	[kjv]	But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.
	[bbe]	Truly, you will take up Saccuth your king and Kaiwan your images, the star of your god, which you made for yourselves.
5:27	[hb5]	所以我要把你們擄到大馬色以外．這是耶和華名為萬軍之　神說的。
	[kjv]	Therefore will I cause you to go into captivity beyond Damascus, saith the LORD, whose name is The God of hosts.
	[bbe]	And I will send you away as prisoners farther than Damascus, says the Lord, whose name is the God of armies.
