   [kjv] Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
   [bbe] Say to the children of Israel: These are the living things which you may have for food among all the beasts on the earth.
11:3[hb5] ¤Z ¿á ¤À ¨â ä ¡B ­Ë ÄZ ªº ¨« Ã~ ¡B §A ­Ì ³£ ¥i ¥H ³ð ¡C
   [kjv] Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
   [bbe] You may have as food any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot, and whose food comes back into its mouth to be crushed again.
11:4[hb5] ¦ý ¨º ­Ë ÄZ ¡B ©Î ¤À ¿á ¤§ ¤¤ ¤£ ¥i ³ð ªº ¡B ¤D ¬O Àd ¾m ¡B ¦] ¬° ­Ë ÄZ ¤£ ¤À ¿á ¡B ´N »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡C
   [kjv] Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
   [bbe] But, at the same time, of those beasts, you may not take for food the camel, because its food comes back but the horn of its foot is not parted in two; it is unclean to you.
11:5[hb5] ¨F µf ¡B ¦] ¬° ­Ë ÄZ ¤£ ¤À ¿á ¡B ´N »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡C
   [kjv] And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
   [bbe] And the rock-badger, for the same reason, is unclean to you.
11:6[hb5] ¨ß ¤l ¡B ¦] ¬° ­Ë ÄZ ¤£ ¤À ¿á ¡B ´N »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡C
   [kjv] And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
   [bbe] And the hare, because the horn of its foot is not parted in two, is unclean to you.

   [kjv] And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
   [bbe] And the pig is unclean to you, because though the horn of its foot is parted, its food does not come back.

   [kjv] Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
   [bbe] Their flesh may not be used for food, and their dead bodies may not even be touched; they are unclean to you.
11:9[hb5] ¤ô ¤¤ ¥i ³ð ªº ¡B ¤D ¬O ³o ¨Ç ¡D ¤Z ¦b ¤ô ¸Ì ¡B ®ü ¸Ì ¡B ªe ¸Ì ¡B ¦³ ¯Í ¦³ Åì ªº ¡B ³£ ¥i ¥H ³ð ¡C
   [kjv] These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
   [bbe] These you may have for food of all things living in the water: anything living in the water, in the seas or rivers, which has special parts for swimming and skin formed of thin plates, may be used for food.
11:10[hb5] ¤Z ¦b ®ü ¸Ì ¡B ªe ¸Ì ¡B ¨Ã ¤@ ¤Á ¤ô ¸Ì ´å °Ê ªº ¬¡ ª« ¡B µL ¯Í µL Åì ªº ¡B §A ­Ì ³£ ·í ¥H ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ¡D
   [kjv] And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
   [bbe] All other things living and moving in the water, in the sea or in the rivers, are a disgusting thing to you;
11:11[hb5] ³o ¨Ç µL ¯Í µL Åì ¥H ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ªº ¡B §A ­Ì ¤£ ¥i ³ð ¥L ªº ¦× ¡B ¦º ªº ¤] ·í ¥H ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ¡C
   [kjv] They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
   [bbe] They may not be used for food, and their dead bodies are disgusting to you.
11:12[hb5] ¤Z ¤ô ¸Ì µL ¯Í µL Åì ªº ¡B §A ­Ì ³£ ·í ¥H ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ¡C
   [kjv] Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
   [bbe] Anything in the water which has no special parts for swimming and no thin plates on its skin is disgusting to you.
11:13[hb5] ³¶ ³¾ ¤¤ §A ­Ì ·í ¥H ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ¡B ¤£ ¥i ³ð ªº ¡B ¤D ¬O óç ¡B ª¯ ÀY óç ¡B ¬õ ÀY óç ¡B
   [kjv] And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
   [bbe] And among birds these are to be disgusting to you, and not to be used for food: the eagle and the gier-eagle and the ospray;

   [kjv] And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
   [bbe] And the kite and the falcon, and birds of that sort;

   [kjv] Every raven after his kind;
   [bbe] Every raven, and birds of that sort;

   [kjv] And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
   [bbe] And the ostrich and the night-hawk and the sea-hawk, and birds of that sort;

   [kjv] And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
   [bbe] And the little owl and the cormorant and the great owl;

   [kjv] And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
   [bbe] And the water-hen and the pelican and the vulture;
11:19[hb5] Æ| ¡B ÆO Åî ¡B »P ¨ä Ãþ ¡D À¹ ï¦ ¡B »P ½¿ ½» ¡C
   [kjv] And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
   [bbe] The stork and the heron, and birds of that sort, and the hoopoe and the bat.
11:20[hb5] ¤Z ¦³ ¯Í »H ¥Î ¥| ¨¬ ª¦ ¦æ ªº ª« ¡B §A ­Ì ³£ ·í ¥H ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ¡C
   [kjv] All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
   [bbe] Every winged four-footed thing which goes on the earth is disgusting to you;
11:21[hb5] ¥u ¬O ¦³ ¯Í »H ¥Î ¥| ¨¬ ª¦ ¦æ ªº ª« ¤¤ ¡B ¦³ ¨¬ ¦³ »L ¡B ¦b ¦a ¤W úw ¸õ ªº ¡B §A ­Ì ÁÙ ¥i ¥H ³ð ¡C
   [kjv] Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
   [bbe] But of the winged four-footed things, those which have long legs for jumping on the earth you may have for food;
11:22[hb5] ¨ä ¤¤ ¦³ ½À ÂÎ ¡B ¿Â ³K ¡B Áµ Á¬ ¡B »P ¨ä Ãþ ¡D ³K »g ¡B »P ¨ä Ãþ ¡D ³o ¨Ç §A ­Ì ³£ ¥i ¥H ³ð ¡C
   [kjv] Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
   [bbe] Such as all the different sorts of locust.
11:23[hb5] ¦ý ¬O ¦³ ¯Í »H ¦³ ¥| ¨¬ ªº ª¦ ª« ¡B §A ­Ì ³£ ·í ¥H ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ¡C
   [kjv] But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
   [bbe] But all other winged four-footed things which go on the earth are disgusting to you.
11:24[hb5] ³o ¨Ç ³£ ¯à ¨Ï §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡D ¤Z ºN ¤F ¦º ªº ¡B ¥² ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¨ì ±ß ¤W ¡C
   [kjv] And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be unclean until the even.
   [bbe] By these you will be made unclean; anyone touching their dead bodies will be unclean till evening:
11:25[hb5] ¤Z ®³ ¤F ¦º ªº ¡B ¥² ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¨ì ±ß ¤W ¡B ¨Ã ­n ¬~ ¦ç ªA ¡C
   [kjv] And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
   [bbe] Whoever takes away the dead body of one of them is to have his clothing washed, and will be unclean till evening.
11:26[hb5] ¤Z ¨« Ã~ ¤À ¿á ¤£ ¦¨ ¨â ä ¡B ¤] ¤£ ­Ë ÄZ ªº ¡B ¬O »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡D ¤Z ºN ¤F ªº ¡B ´N ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡C
   [kjv] The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
   [bbe] Every beast, in the horn of whose foot there is not a complete division, and whose food does not come back, is unclean to you: anyone touching one of these will be unclean.
11:27[hb5] ¤Z ¥| ¨¬ ªº ¨« Ã~ ¡B ¥Î ´x ¦æ ¨« ªº ¡B ¬O »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡D ºN ¨ä «Í ªº ¡B ¥² ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¨ì ±ß ¤W ¡C
   [kjv] And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
   [bbe] Any four-footed beast which goes on the ball of its foot, is unclean to you: anyone touching the dead body of one of these will be unclean till evening.
11:28[hb5] ®³ ¨ä «Í ªº ¡B ¥² ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¨ì ±ß ¤W ¡B ¨Ã ­n ¬~ ¦ç ªA ¡D ³o ¨Ç ¬O »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ªº ¡C
   [kjv] And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
   [bbe] Anyone who takes away the dead body of one of these is to have his clothing washed and be unclean till evening.

   [kjv] These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
   [bbe] And these are unclean to you among things which go low down on the earth; the weasel and the mouse and the great lizard, and animals of that sort;
11:30[hb5] ¾À ªê ¡B Às ¤l ¡B ¦u ®c ¡B ³D Âå ¡B ç§ ¸» ¡D
   [kjv] And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
   [bbe] And the ferret and the land crocodile and the lizard and the sand-lizard and the chameleon.
11:31[hb5] ³o ¨Ç ª¦ ª« ¡B ³£ ¬O »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ªº ¡D ¦b ¥L ¦º ¤F ¥H «á ¡B ¤Z ºN ¤F ªº ¡B ¥² ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¨ì ±ß ¤W ¡C
   [kjv] These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
   [bbe] All these are unclean to you: anyone touching them when they are dead will be unclean till evening.
11:32[hb5] ¨ä ¤¤ ¦º ¤F ªº ±¼ ¦b ¬Æ »ò ªF ¦è ¤W ¡B ³o ªF ¦è ´N ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡B µL ½× ¬O ¤ì ¾¹ ¡B ¦ç ªA ¡B ¥Ö ¤l ¡B ¤f ³U ¡B ¤£ ©ë ¬O §@ ¬Æ »ò ¤u ¥Î ªº ¾¹ ¥× ¡B ¶· ­n ©ñ ¦b ¤ô ¤¤ ¡B ¥² ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¨ì ±ß ¤W ¡B ¨ì ±ß ¤W Å× ¼ä ²b ¤F ¡C
   [kjv] And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
   [bbe] The dead body of any of these, falling on anything, will make that thing unclean; if it is any vessel of wood, or clothing, or skin, or bag, whatever it is, if it is used for any purpose, it will have to be put into water, and will be unclean till evening; after that it will be clean.
11:33[hb5] ­Y ¦³ ¦º ¤F ±¼ ¦b ¥Ë ¾¹ ¸Ì ªº ¡B ¨ä ¤¤ ¤£ ©ë ¦³ ¬Æ »ò ¡B ´N ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡B §A ­Ì ­n §â ³o ¥Ë ¾¹ ¥´ ¯} ¤F ¡D
   [kjv] And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and ye shall break it.
   [bbe] And if one of them gets into any vessel of earth, whatever is in the vessel will be unclean and the vessel will have to be broken.

   [kjv] Of all meat which may be eaten, that on which such water cometh shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
   [bbe] Any food in it, and anything on which water from it comes, will be unclean: any drink taken from such a vessel will be unclean.

   [kjv] And every thing whereupon any part of their carcase falleth shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
   [bbe] Any part of the dead body of one of these, falling on anything, will make it unclean; if it is an oven or a cooking-pot it will have to be broken: they are unclean and will be unclean to you.
11:36[hb5] ¦ý ¬O ¬u ·½ ¡B ©Î ¬O »E ¤ô ªº ¦À ¤l ¡B ¤´ ¬O ¼ä ²b ¡D ±© ®Á ¤F ¨º ¦º ªº ¡B ´N ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡C
   [kjv] Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcase shall be unclean.
   [bbe] But at the same time a fountain or a place where water is stored for use will be clean; but anyone touching their dead bodies will be unclean.
11:37[hb5] ­Y ¬O ¦º ªº ¡B ¦³ ¤@ ÂI ±¼ ¦b ­n ºØ ªº ¤l ²É ¤W ¡B ¤l ²É ¤´ ¬O ¼ä ²b ¡D
   [kjv] And if any part of their carcase fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
   [bbe] If any part of the dead body of one of these gets on to any seed for planting, it is clean;
11:38[hb5] ­Y ¤ô ¤w ¸g ¼å ¦b ¤l ²É ¤W ¡B ¨º ¦º ªº ¦³ ¤@ ÂI ±¼ ¦b ¤W ÀY ¡B ³o ¤l ²É ´N »P §A ­Ì ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡C
   [kjv] But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcase fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
   [bbe] But if water is put on the seed, and any part of the dead body gets on to it, it will be unclean to you.
11:39[hb5] §A ­Ì ¥i ³ð ªº ¨« Ã~ ¡B ­Y ¬O ¦º ¤F ¡B ¦³ ¤H ºN ¥L ¡B ¥² ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¨ì ±ß ¤W ¡D
   [kjv] And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcase thereof shall be unclean until the even.
   [bbe] And if any beast which may be used for food comes to a natural death, anyone touching its dead body will be unclean till evening.

   [kjv] And he that eateth of the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcase of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
   [bbe] And he who makes use of any part of its body for food is to have his clothing washed and be unclean till evening; and anyone taking away its body is to have his clothing washed and be unclean till evening.

   [kjv] And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
   [bbe] Everything which goes flat on its body on the earth is disgusting, and is not to be used for food.
11:42[hb5] ¤Z ¥Î ¨{ ¤l ¦æ ¨« ªº ¡B ©M ¥Î ¥| ¨¬ ¦æ ¨« ªº ¡B ©Î ¬O ¦³ ³\ ¦h ¨¬ ªº ¡B ´N ¬O ¤@ ¤Á ª¦ ¦b ¦a ¤W ªº ¡B §A ­Ì ³£ ¤£ ¥i ³ð ¡B ¦] ¬° ¬O ¥i ¼¨ ªº ¡C
   [kjv] Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all four, or whatsoever hath more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
   [bbe] Whatever goes on its stomach or on four feet or has a great number of feet, even all those going flat on the earth, may not be used for food, for they are disgusting.
11:43[hb5] §A ­Ì ¤£ ¥i ¦] ¬Æ »ò ª¦ ª« ¡B ¨Ï ¦Û ¤v ¦¨ ¬° ¥i ¼¨ ªº ¡B ¤] ¤£ ¥i ¦] ³o ¨Ç ¨Ï ¦Û ¤v ¤£ ¼ä ²b ¡B ¥H ­P ¬V ¤F ¦Ã © ¡C
   [kjv] Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
   [bbe] You are not to make yourselves disgusting with anything which goes about flat on the earth; you may not make yourselves unclean with them, in such a way that you are not holy to me.

   [kjv] For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
   [bbe] For I am the Lord your God: for this reason, make and keep yourselves holy, for I am holy; you are not to make yourselves unclean with any sort of thing which goes about flat on the earth.

   [kjv] For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
   [bbe] For I am the Lord, who took you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God; so be you holy, for I am holy.

   [kjv] This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth:
   [bbe] This is the law about beasts and birds and every living thing moving in the waters, and every living thing which goes flat on the earth:
