箴言 Proverbs

3:1	[hb5]	我兒、不要忘記我的法則．〔或作指教〕你心要謹守我的誡命．
	[kjv]	My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:
	[bbe]	My son, keep my teaching in your memory, and my rules in your heart:
3:2	[hb5]	因為他必將長久的日子、生命的年數、與平安、加給你。
	[kjv]	For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
	[bbe]	For they will give you increase of days, years of life, and peace.
3:3	[hb5]	不可使慈愛誠實離開你．要繫在你頸項上、刻在你心版上．
	[kjv]	Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:
	[bbe]	Let not mercy and good faith go from you; let them be hanging round your neck, recorded on your heart;
3:4	[hb5]	這樣、你必在　神和世人眼前蒙恩寵、有聰明。
	[kjv]	So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
	[bbe]	So you will have grace and a good name in the eyes of God and men.
3:5	[hb5]	你要專心仰賴耶和華、不可倚靠自己的聰明．
	[kjv]	Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
	[bbe]	Put all your hope in God, not looking to your reason for support.
3:6	[hb5]	在你一切所行的事上、都要認定他、他必指引你的路。
	[kjv]	In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
	[bbe]	In all your ways give ear to him, and he will make straight your footsteps.
3:7	[hb5]	不要自以為有智慧．要敬畏耶和華、遠離惡事．
	[kjv]	Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
	[bbe]	Put no high value on your wisdom: let the fear of the Lord be before you, and keep yourself from evil:
3:8	[hb5]	這便醫治你的肚臍、滋潤你的百骨。
	[kjv]	It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
	[bbe]	This will give strength to your flesh, and new life to your bones.
3:9	[hb5]	你要以財物和一切初熟的土產、尊榮耶和華．
	[kjv]	Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
	[bbe]	Give honour to the Lord with your wealth, and with the first-fruits of all your increase:
3:10	[hb5]	這樣、你的倉房、必充滿有餘、你的酒醡、有新酒盈溢。
	[kjv]	So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
	[bbe]	So your store-houses will be full of grain, and your vessels overflowing with new wine.
3:11	[hb5]	我兒、你不可輕看耶和華的管教〔或作懲治〕、也不可厭煩他的責備．
	[kjv]	My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
	[bbe]	My son, do not make your heart hard against the Lord's teaching; do not be made angry by his training:
3:12	[hb5]	因為耶和華所愛的、他必責備．正如父親責備所喜愛的兒子。
	[kjv]	For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.
	[bbe]	For to those who are dear to him the Lord says sharp words, and makes the son in whom he has delight undergo pain.
3:13	[hb5]	得智慧、得聰明的、這人便為有福。
	[kjv]	Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
	[bbe]	Happy is the man who makes discovery of wisdom, and he who gets knowledge.
3:14	[hb5]	因為得智慧勝過得銀子、其利益強如精金．
	[kjv]	For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold.
	[bbe]	For trading in it is better than trading in silver, and its profit greater than bright gold.
3:15	[hb5]	比珍珠〔或作紅寶石〕寶貴．你一切所喜愛的、都不足與比較。
	[kjv]	She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her.
	[bbe]	She is of more value than jewels, and nothing for which you may have a desire is fair in comparison with her.
3:16	[hb5]	他右手有長壽．左手有富貴。
	[kjv]	Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
	[bbe]	Long life is in her right hand, and in her left are wealth and honour.
3:17	[hb5]	他的道是安樂、他的路全是平安。
	[kjv]	Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.
	[bbe]	Her ways are ways of delight, and all her goings are peace.
3:18	[hb5]	他與持守他的作生命樹．持定他的俱各有福。
	[kjv]	She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her.
	[bbe]	She is a tree of life to all who take her in their hands, and happy is everyone who keeps her.
3:19	[hb5]	耶和華以智慧立地．以聰明定天．
	[kjv]	The LORD by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens.
	[bbe]	The Lord by wisdom put in position the bases of the earth; by reason he put the heavens in their place.
3:20	[hb5]	以知識使深淵裂開、使天空滴下甘露。
	[kjv]	By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.
	[bbe]	By his knowledge the deep was parted, and dew came dropping from the skies.
3:21	[hb5]	我兒、要謹守真智慧和謀略．不可使他離開你的眼目．
	[kjv]	My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion:
	[bbe]	My son, keep good sense, and do not let wise purpose go from your eyes.
3:22	[hb5]	這樣、他必作你的生命、頸項的美飾。
	[kjv]	So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck.
	[bbe]	So they will be life for your soul, and grace for your neck.
3:23	[hb5]	你就坦然行路、不至碰腳。
	[kjv]	Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
	[bbe]	Then you will go safely on your way, and your feet will have no cause for slipping.
3:24	[hb5]	你躺下、必不懼怕．你躺臥、睡得香甜。
	[kjv]	When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.
	[bbe]	When you take your rest you will have no fear, and on your bed sleep will be sweet to you.
3:25	[hb5]	忽然來的驚恐、不要害怕．惡人遭毀滅、也不要恐懼．
	[kjv]	Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
	[bbe]	Have no fear of sudden danger, or of the storm which will come on evil-doers:
3:26	[hb5]	因為耶和華是你所倚靠的．他必保守你的腳不陷入網羅。
	[kjv]	For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.
	[bbe]	For the Lord will be your hope, and will keep your foot from being taken in the net.
3:27	[hb5]	你手若有行善的力量、不可推辭、就當向那應得的人施行。
	[kjv]	Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
	[bbe]	Do not keep back good from those who have a right to it, when it is in the power of your hand to do it.
3:28	[hb5]	你那裡若有現成的、不可對鄰舍說、去罷、明天再來、我必給你。
	[kjv]	Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee.
	[bbe]	Say not to your neighbour, Go, and come again, and tomorrow I will give; when you have it by you at the time.
3:29	[hb5]	你的鄰舍、既在你附近安居、你不可設計害他。
	[kjv]	Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee.
	[bbe]	Do not make evil designs against your neighbour, when he is living with you without fear.
3:30	[hb5]	人未曾加害與你、不可無故與他相爭。
	[kjv]	Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm.
	[bbe]	Do not take up a cause at law against a man for nothing, if he has done you no wrong.
3:31	[hb5]	不可嫉妒強暴的人、也不可選擇他所行的路。
	[kjv]	Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.
	[bbe]	Have no envy of the violent man, or take any of his ways as an example.
3:32	[hb5]	因為乖僻人為耶和華所憎惡．正直人為他所親密。
	[kjv]	For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.
	[bbe]	For the wrong-hearted man is hated by the Lord, but he is a friend to the upright.
3:33	[hb5]	耶和華咒詛惡人的家庭、賜福與義人的居所。
	[kjv]	The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
	[bbe]	The curse of the Lord is on the house of the evil-doer, but his blessing is on the tent of the upright.
3:34	[hb5]	他譏誚那好譏誚的人、賜恩給謙卑的人。
	[kjv]	Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.
	[bbe]	He makes sport of the men of pride, but he gives grace to the gentle-hearted.
3:35	[hb5]	智慧人必承受尊榮．愚昧人高陞也成為羞辱。
	[kjv]	The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools.
	[bbe]	The wise will have glory for their heritage, but shame will be the reward of the foolish.
