18:1[hb5] 書 亞 人 比 勒 達 回 答 說 、
   [bbe] Then Bildad the Shuhite made answer and said,
18:2[hb5] 你 尋 索 言 語 要 到 幾 時 呢 ． 你 可 以 揣 摩 思 想 、 然 後 我 們 就 說 話 。
   [bbe] How long will it be before you have done talking? Get wisdom, and then we will say what is in our minds.
18:3[hb5] 我 們 為 何 算 為 畜 生 、 在 你 眼 中 看 作 污 穢 呢 。
   [bbe] Why do we seem as beasts in your eyes, and as completely without knowledge?
18:4[hb5] 你 這 惱 怒 將 自 己 撕 裂 的 、 難 道 大 地 為 你 見 棄 、 磐 石 挪 開 原 處 麼 。
   [bbe] But come back, now, come: you who are wounding yourself in your passion, will the earth be given up because of you, or a rock be moved out of its place?
18:5[hb5] 惡 人 的 亮 光 、 必 要 熄 滅 、 他 的 火 焰 、 必 不 照 耀 。
   [bbe] For the light of the sinner is put out, and the flame of his fire is not shining.
18:6[hb5] 他 帳 棚 中 的 亮 光 、 要 變 為 黑 暗 ． 他 以 上 的 燈 、 也 必 熄 滅 。
   [bbe] The light is dark in his tent, and the light shining over him is put out.
18:7[hb5] 他 堅 強 的 腳 步 、 必 見 狹 窄 、 自 己 的 計 謀 、 必 將 他 絆 倒 。
   [bbe] The steps of his strength become short, and by his design destruction overtakes him.
18:8[hb5] 因 為 他 被 自 己 的 腳 陷 入 網 中 、 走 在 纏 人 的 網 羅 上 。
   [bbe] His feet take him into the net, and he goes walking into the cords.
18:9[hb5] 圈 套 必 抓 住 他 的 腳 跟 、 機 關 必 擒 獲 他 。
   [bbe] His foot is taken in the net; he comes into its grip.
18:10[hb5] 活 扣 為 他 藏 在 土 內 、 羈 絆 為 他 藏 在 路 上 。
   [bbe] The twisted cord is put secretly in the earth to take him, and the cord is placed in his way.
18:11[hb5] 四 面 的 驚 嚇 要 使 他 害 怕 、 並 且 追 趕 他 的 腳 跟 。
   [bbe] He is overcome by fears on every side, they go after him at every step.
18:12[hb5] 他 的 力 量 必 因 飢 餓 衰 敗 、 禍 患 要 在 他 旁 邊 等 候 。
   [bbe] His strength is made feeble for need of food, and destruction is waiting for his falling footstep.
18:13[hb5] 他 本 身 的 肢 體 要 被 吞 喫 、 死 亡 的 長 子 要 吞 喫 他 的 肢 體 。
   [bbe] His skin is wasted by disease, and his body is food for the worst of diseases.
18:14[hb5] 他 要 從 所 倚 靠 的 帳 棚 被 拔 出 來 、 帶 到 驚 嚇 的 王 那 裡 。
   [bbe] He is pulled out of his tent where he was safe, and he is taken away to the king of fears.
18:15[hb5] 不 屬 他 的 必 住 在 他 的 帳 棚 裡 ． 硫 磺 必 撒 在 他 所 住 之 處 。
   [bbe] In his tent will be seen that which is not his, burning stone is dropped on his house.
18:16[hb5] 下 邊 、 他 的 根 本 要 枯 乾 ． 上 邊 、 他 的 枝 子 要 剪 除 。
   [bbe] Under the earth his roots are dry, and over it his branch is cut off.
18:17[hb5] 他 的 記 念 、 在 地 上 必 然 滅 亡 、 他 的 名 字 、 在 街 上 也 不 存 留 。
   [bbe] His memory is gone from the earth, and in the open country there is no knowledge of his name.
18:18[hb5] 他 必 從 光 明 中 被 攆 到 黑 暗 裡 、 必 被 趕 出 世 界 。
   [bbe] He is sent away from the light into the dark; he is forced out of the world.
18:19[hb5] 在 本 民 中 必 無 子 無 孫 、 在 寄 居 之 地 、 也 無 一 人 存 留 。
   [bbe] He has no offspring or family among his people, and in his living-place there is no one of his name.
18:20[hb5] 以 後 來 的 、 要 驚 奇 他 的 日 子 、 好 像 以 前 去 的 、 受 了 驚 駭 。
   [bbe] At his fate those of the west are shocked, and those of the east are overcome with fear.
18:21[hb5] 不 義 之 人 的 住 處 、 總 是 這 樣 、 此 乃 不 認 識 　 神 之 人 的 地 步 。
   [bbe] Truly, these are the houses of the sinner, and this is the place of him who has no knowledge of God.
