46:1	[hb5]	耶和華論列國的話臨到先知耶利米。
	[kjv]	The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles;
	[bbe]	The word of the Lord which came to Jeremiah the prophet about the nations.
46:2	[hb5]	論到關乎埃及王法老尼哥的軍隊．這軍隊安營在伯拉河邊的迦基米施、是巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒在猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬第四年所打敗的。
	[kjv]	Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah.
	[bbe]	Of Egypt: about the army of Pharaoh-neco, king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, overcame in the fourth year of Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, king of Judah.
46:3	[hb5]	你們要預備大小盾牌、往前上陣。
	[kjv]	Order ye the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle.
	[bbe]	Get out the breastplate and body-cover, and come together to the fight.
46:4	[hb5]	你們套上車、騎上馬、頂盔站立、磨槍貫甲。
	[kjv]	Harness the horses; and get up, ye horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; furbish the spears, and put on the brigandines.
	[bbe]	Make the horses ready, and get up, you horsemen, and take your places with your head-dresses; make the spears sharp and put on the breastplates.
46:5	[hb5]	我為何看見他們驚惶轉身退後呢．他們的勇士打敗了、急忙逃跑、並不回頭．驚嚇四圍都有．這是耶和華說的。
	[kjv]	Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled apace, and look not back: for fear was round about, saith the LORD.
	[bbe]	What have I seen? they are overcome with fear and turned back; their men of war are broken and have gone in flight, not looking back: fear is on every side, says the Lord.
46:6	[hb5]	不要容快跑的逃避、不要容勇士逃脫．〔或作快跑的不能逃避勇士不能逃脫〕他們在北方伯拉河邊絆跌仆倒。
	[kjv]	Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates.
	[bbe]	Let not the quick-footed go in flight, or the man of war get away; on the north, by the river Euphrates, they are slipping and falling.
46:7	[hb5]	像尼羅河漲發、像江河之水翻騰的是誰呢。
	[kjv]	Who is this that cometh up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers?
	[bbe]	Who is this coming up like the Nile, whose waters are lifting their heads like the rivers?
46:8	[hb5]	埃及像尼羅河漲發、像江河的水翻騰．他說、我要漲發遮蓋遍地．我要毀滅城邑、和其中的居民。
	[kjv]	Egypt riseth up like a flood, and his waters are moved like the rivers; and he saith, I will go up, and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.
	[bbe]	Egypt is coming up like the Nile, and his waters are lifting their heads like the rivers, and he says, I will go up, covering the earth; I will send destruction on the town and its people.
46:9	[hb5]	馬匹上去罷．車輛急行罷．勇士、就是手拿盾牌的古實人和弗人、〔又作呂彼亞人〕並拉弓的路德族、都出去罷。
	[kjv]	Come up, ye horses; and rage, ye chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.
	[bbe]	Go up, you horses; go rushing on, you carriages of war; go out, you men of war: Cush and Put, gripping the body-cover, and the Ludim, with bent bows.
46:10	[hb5]	那日是主萬軍之耶和華報仇的日子、要向敵人報仇．刀劍必吞喫得飽、飲血飲足．因為主萬軍之耶和華、在北方伯拉河邊有獻祭的事。
	[kjv]	For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.
	[bbe]	But that day is the day of the Lord, the Lord of armies, a day of punishment when he will take payment from his haters: and the sword will have all its desire, drinking their blood in full measure: for there is an offering to the Lord, the Lord of armies, in the north country by the river Euphrates.
46:11	[hb5]	埃及的民哪、〔民原文作處女〕可以上基列取乳香去．你雖多服良藥、總是徒然、不得治好。
	[kjv]	Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shalt thou use many medicines; for thou shalt not be cured.
	[bbe]	Go up to Gilead and take sweet oil, O virgin daughter of Egypt: there is no help in all your medical arts; nothing will make you well.
46:12	[hb5]	列國聽見你的羞辱、遍地滿了你的哀聲．勇士與勇士彼此相碰、一齊跌倒。
	[kjv]	The nations have heard of thy shame, and thy cry hath filled the land: for the mighty man hath stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.
	[bbe]	Your shame has come to the ears of the nations, and the earth is full of your cry: for the strong man is falling against the strong, they have come down together.
46:13	[hb5]	耶和華對先知耶利米所說的話、論到巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒要來攻擊埃及地。
	[kjv]	The word that the LORD spake to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and smite the land of Egypt.
	[bbe]	The word which the Lord said to Jeremiah the prophet, of how Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, would come and make war on the land of Egypt.
46:14	[hb5]	你們要傳揚在埃及、宣告在密奪、報告在挪弗、答比匿、說、要站起出隊、自作準備．因為刀劍在你四圍施行吞滅的事。
	[kjv]	Declare ye in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes: say ye, Stand fast, and prepare thee; for the sword shall devour round about thee.
	[bbe]	Give the news in Migdol, make it public in Noph: say, Take up your positions and make yourselves ready; for on every side of you the sword has made destruction.
46:15	[hb5]	你的壯士為何被沖去呢．他們站立不住、因為耶和華驅逐他們。
	[kjv]	Why are thy valiant men swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them.
	[bbe]	Why has Apis, your strong one, gone in flight? he was not able to keep his place, because the Lord was forcing him down with strength.
46:16	[hb5]	使多人絆跌、他們也彼此撞倒、說、起來罷、我們再往本民本地去、好躲避欺壓的刀劍。
	[kjv]	He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword.
	[bbe]	... are stopped in their going, they are falling; and they say one to another, Let us get up and go back to our people, to the land of our birth, away from the cruel sword.
46:17	[hb5]	他們在那裡喊叫說、埃及王法老不過是個聲音．〔不過是個聲音或作已經敗亡〕他已錯過所定的時候了。
	[kjv]	They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he hath passed the time appointed.
	[bbe]	Give a name to Pharaoh, king of Egypt: A noise who has let the time go by.
46:18	[hb5]	君王、名為萬軍之耶和華的、說、我指著我的永生起誓、尼布甲尼撒〔原文作他〕來的勢派必像他泊在眾山之中、像迦密在海邊一樣。
	[kjv]	As I live, saith the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.
	[bbe]	By my life, says the King, whose name is the Lord of armies, truly, like Tabor among the mountains and like Carmel by the sea, so will he come.
46:19	[hb5]	住在埃及的民哪、〔民原文作女子〕要預備擄去時所用的物件．因為挪弗必成為荒場、且被燒燬、無人居住。
	[kjv]	O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.
	[bbe]	O daughter living in Egypt, make ready the vessels of a prisoner: for Noph will become a waste, it will be burned up and become unpeopled.
46:20	[hb5]	埃及是肥美的母牛犢．但出於北方的毀滅〔毀滅或作牛虻）來到了、來到了。
	[kjv]	Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh; it cometh out of the north.
	[bbe]	Egypt is a fair young cow; but a biting insect has come on her out of the north.
46:21	[hb5]	其中的雇勇、好像圈裡的肥牛犢．他們轉身退後、一齊逃跑、站立不住．因為他們遭難的日子、追討的時候、已經臨到。
	[kjv]	Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.
	[bbe]	And those who were her fighters for payment are like fat oxen; for they are turned back, they have gone in flight together, they do not keep their place: for the day of their fate has come on them, the time of their punishment.
46:22	[hb5]	其中的聲音、好像蛇行一樣．敵人要成隊而來、如砍伐樹木的手拿斧子攻擊他。
	[kjv]	The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood.
	[bbe]	She makes a sound like the hiss of a snake when they come on with strength; they go against her with axes, like wood-cutters.
46:23	[hb5]	耶和華說、埃及的樹林、雖然不能尋察、〔或作穿不過〕敵人卻要砍伐、因他們多於蝗蟲、不可勝數。
	[kjv]	They shall cut down her forest, saith the LORD, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable.
	[bbe]	They will be cutting down her woods, for they may not be searched out; because they are like locusts, more than may be numbered.
46:24	[hb5]	埃及的民〔民原文作女子〕必然蒙羞．必交在北方人的手中。
	[kjv]	The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.
	[bbe]	The daughter of Egypt will be put to shame; she will be given up into the hands of the people of the north.
46:25	[hb5]	萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神說、我必刑罰挪的亞捫〔埃及尊大之神〕和法老、並埃及、與埃及的神、以及君王．也必刑罰法老、和倚靠他的人。
	[kjv]	The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:
	[bbe]	The Lord of armies, the God of Israel, has said: See, I will send punishment on Amon of No and on Pharaoh and on those who put their faith in him;
46:26	[hb5]	我要將他們交付尋索其命之人的手、和巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒與他臣僕的手．以後埃及必再有人居住、與從前一樣．這是耶和華說的。
	[kjv]	And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD.
	[bbe]	And I will give them up into the hands of those who will take their lives, and into the hands of Nebuchadrezzar, king of Babylon, and into the hands of his servants: and later, it will be peopled as in the past, says the Lord.
46:27	[hb5]	我的僕人雅各阿、不要懼怕．以色列阿、不要驚惶。因我要從遠方拯救你、從被擄到之地拯救你的後裔．雅各必回來、得享平靖安逸、無人使他害怕。
	[kjv]	But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
	[bbe]	But have no fear, O Jacob, my servant, and do not be troubled, O Israel: for see, I will make you come back from far away, and your seed from the land where they are prisoners; and Jacob will come back, and will be quiet and in peace, and no one will give him cause for fear.
46:28	[hb5]	我的僕人雅各阿、不要懼怕．因我與你同在．我要將我所趕你到的那些國滅絕淨盡．卻不將你滅絕淨盡、倒要從寬懲治你、萬不能不罰你．〔不罰你或作以你為無罪〕這是耶和華說的。
	[kjv]	Fear thou not, O Jacob my servant, saith the LORD: for I am with thee; for I will make a full end of all the nations whither I have driven thee: but I will not make a full end of thee, but correct thee in measure; yet will I not leave thee wholly unpunished.
	[bbe]	Have no fear, O Jacob, my servant, says the Lord; for I am with you: for I will put an end to all the nations where I have sent you, but I will not put an end to you completely: though with wise purpose I will put right your errors, and will not let you go quite without punishment.
