11:1	[hb5]	羅波安來到耶路撒冷、招聚猶大家、和便雅憫家、共十八萬人、都是挑選的戰士、要與以色列人爭戰、好將國奪回再歸自己。
	[kjv]	And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he gathered of the house of Judah and Benjamin an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against Israel, that he might bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam.
	[bbe]	And Rehoboam came to Jerusalem, and got together the men of Judah and Benjamin, a hundred and eighty thousand of his best fighting-men, to make war against Israel and get the kingdom back for Rehoboam.
11:2	[hb5]	但耶和華的話臨到神人示瑪雅說、
	[kjv]	But the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
	[bbe]	But the word of the Lord came to Shemaiah, the man of God, saying,
11:3	[hb5]	你去告訴所羅門的兒子猶大王羅波安、和住猶大便雅憫的以色列眾人、說、
	[kjv]	Speak unto Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
	[bbe]	Say to Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin,
11:4	[hb5]	耶和華如此說、你們不可上去、與你們的弟兄爭戰．各歸各家去罷．因為這事出於我。眾人就聽從耶和華的話、歸回不去與耶羅波安爭戰。
	[kjv]	Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren: return every man to his house: for this thing is done of me. And they obeyed the words of the LORD, and returned from going against Jeroboam.
	[bbe]	The Lord has said, You are not to go to war against your brothers: let every man go back to his house, for this thing is my purpose. So they gave ear to the words of the Lord and were turned back from fighting against Jeroboam.
11:5	[hb5]	羅波安住在耶路撒冷、在猶大地修築城邑。
	[kjv]	And Rehoboam dwelt in Jerusalem, and built cities for defence in Judah.
	[bbe]	Now Rehoboam kept in Jerusalem, building walled towns in Judah.
11:6	[hb5]	為保障修築伯利恆、以坦、提哥亞、
	[kjv]	He built even Bethlehem, and Etam, and Tekoa,
	[bbe]	He was the builder of Beth-lehem and Etam and Tekoa
11:7	[hb5]	伯夙、梭哥、亞杜蘭、
	[kjv]	And Bethzur, and Shoco, and Adullam,
	[bbe]	And Beth-zur and Soco and Adullam
11:8	[hb5]	迦特、瑪利沙、西弗、
	[kjv]	And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,
	[bbe]	And Gath and Mareshah and Ziph
11:9	[hb5]	亞多萊音、拉吉、亞西加、
	[kjv]	And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,
	[bbe]	And Adoraim and Lachish and Azekah
11:10	[hb5]	瑣拉、亞雅崙、希伯崙．這都是猶大和便雅憫的堅固城。
	[kjv]	And Zorah, and Aijalon, and Hebron, which are in Judah and in Benjamin fenced cities.
	[bbe]	And Zorah and Aijalon and Hebron, walled towns in Judah and Benjamin.
11:11	[hb5]	羅波安又堅固各處的保障、在其中安置軍長、又預備下糧食、油、酒。
	[kjv]	And he fortified the strong holds, and put captains in them, and store of victual, and of oil and wine.
	[bbe]	And he made the walled towns strong, and he put captains in them and stores of food, oil, and wine.
11:12	[hb5]	他在各城裡預備盾牌和槍、且使城極其堅固。猶大和便雅憫都歸了他。
	[kjv]	And in every several city he put shields and spears, and made them exceeding strong, having Judah and Benjamin on his side.
	[bbe]	And in every town he put stores of body-covers and spears, and made them very strong. And Judah and Benjamin were his.
11:13	[hb5]	以色列全地的祭司和利未人、都從四方來歸羅波安。
	[kjv]	And the priests and the Levites that were in all Israel resorted to him out of all their coasts.
	[bbe]	And the priests and Levites who were in all Israel came together to him from every part of their country.
11:14	[hb5]	利未人撇下他們的郊野和產業、來到猶大與耶路撒冷．是因耶羅波安和他的兒子拒絕他們、不許他們供祭司職分事奉耶和華。
	[kjv]	For the Levites left their suburbs and their possession, and came to Judah and Jerusalem: for Jeroboam and his sons had cast them off from executing the priest's office unto the LORD:
	[bbe]	For the Levites gave up their living-places and their property, and came to Judah and Jerusalem; for Jeroboam and his sons had sent them away, not letting them be priests to the Lord;
11:15	[hb5]	耶羅波安為丘壇、為鬼魔、〔原文作公山羊〕為自己所鑄造的牛犢、設立祭司。
	[kjv]	And he ordained him priests for the high places, and for the devils, and for the calves which he had made.
	[bbe]	And he himself made priests for the high places, and for the images of he-goats and oxen which he had made.
11:16	[hb5]	以色列各支派中、凡立定心意尋求耶和華以色列　神的、都隨從利未人、來到耶路撒冷祭祀耶和華他們列祖的　神。
	[kjv]	And after them out of all the tribes of Israel such as set their hearts to seek the LORD God of Israel came to Jerusalem, to sacrifice unto the LORD God of their fathers.
	[bbe]	And after them, from all the tribes of Israel, all those whose hearts were fixed and true to the Lord, the God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to make offerings to the Lord, the God of their fathers.
11:17	[hb5]	這樣、就堅固猶大國、使所羅門的兒子羅波安強盛三年、因為他們三年遵行大衛和所羅門的道。
	[kjv]	So they strengthened the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam the son of Solomon strong, three years: for three years they walked in the way of David and Solomon.
	[bbe]	So they went on increasing the power of the kingdom of Judah, and made Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, strong for three years; and for three years they went in the ways of David and Solomon.
11:18	[hb5]	羅波安娶大衛兒子耶利摩的女兒瑪哈拉為妻、又娶耶西兒子以利押的女兒亞比孩為妻。
	[kjv]	And Rehoboam took him Mahalath the daughter of Jerimoth the son of David to wife, and Abihail the daughter of Eliab the son of Jesse;
	[bbe]	And Rehoboam took as his wife Mahalath, the daughter of Jerimoth, the son of David and of Abihail, the daughter of Eliab, the son of Jesse;
11:19	[hb5]	從他生了幾個兒子、就是耶烏施、示瑪利雅、撒罕。
	[kjv]	Which bare him children; Jeush, and Shamariah, and Zaham.
	[bbe]	And she had sons by him, Jeush, Shemariah, and Zaham.
11:20	[hb5]	後來又娶押沙龍的女兒瑪迦．〔十三章二節作烏列的女兒米該雅〕從他生了亞比雅、亞太、細撒、示羅密。
	[kjv]	And after her he took Maachah the daughter of Absalom; which bare him Abijah, and Attai, and Ziza, and Shelomith.
	[bbe]	And after her he took Maacah, the daughter of Absalom; and she had Abijah and Attai and Ziza and Shelomith by him.
11:21	[hb5]	羅波安娶十八個妻、立六十個妾、生二十八個兒子、六十個女兒．他卻愛押沙龍的女兒瑪迦、比愛別的妻妾更甚。
	[kjv]	And Rehoboam loved Maachah the daughter of Absalom above all his wives and his concubines: (for he took eighteen wives, and threescore concubines; and begat twenty and eight sons, and threescore daughters.)
	[bbe]	Maacah, the daughter of Absalom, was dearer to Rehoboam than all his wives and his servant-wives: (for he had eighteen wives and sixty servant-wives, and was the father of twenty-eight sons and sixty daughters.)
11:22	[hb5]	羅波安立瑪迦的兒子亞比雅作太子、在他弟兄中為首．因為想要立他接續作王。
	[kjv]	And Rehoboam made Abijah the son of Maachah the chief, to be ruler among his brethren: for he thought to make him king.
	[bbe]	Rehoboam made Abijah, the son of Maacah, chief and ruler among his brothers, for it was his purpose to make him king.
11:23	[hb5]	羅波安辦事精明、使他眾子分散在猶大和便雅憫全地各堅固城裡、又賜他們許多糧食、為他們多尋妻子。
	[kjv]	And he dealt wisely, and dispersed of all his children throughout all the countries of Judah and Benjamin, unto every fenced city: and he gave them victual in abundance. And he desired many wives.
	[bbe]	And in his wisdom he had his sons stationed in every walled town through all the lands of Judah and Benjamin; and he gave them a great store of food, and took wives for them.
