27:1	[hb5]	約坦登基的時候、年二十五歲、在耶路撒冷作王十六年．他母親名叫耶路沙、是撒督的女兒。
	[kjv]	Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.
	[bbe]	Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king; and he was ruling in Jerusalem for sixteen years; and his mother's name was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.
27:2	[hb5]	約坦行耶和華眼中看為正的事、效法他父烏西雅一切所行的、只是不入耶和華的殿。百姓還行邪僻的事。
	[kjv]	And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: howbeit he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly.
	[bbe]	He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Uzziah had done; but he did not go into the Temple of the Lord. And the people still went on in their evil ways.
27:3	[hb5]	約坦建立耶和華殿的上門．在俄斐勒城上多有建造。
	[kjv]	He built the high gate of the house of the LORD, and on the wall of Ophel he built much.
	[bbe]	He put up the higher doorway of the house of the Lord, and did much building on the wall of the Ophel.
27:4	[hb5]	又在猶大山地建造城邑、在樹林中建築營寨、和高樓。
	[kjv]	Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.
	[bbe]	In addition, he made towns in the hill-country of Judah, and strong buildings and towers in the woodlands.
27:5	[hb5]	約坦與亞捫人的王打仗勝了他們．當年他們進貢銀一百他連得、小麥一萬歌珥、大麥一萬歌珥、第二年、第三年、也是這樣。
	[kjv]	He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.
	[bbe]	He went to war with the king of the children of Ammon and overcame them. That year, the children of Ammon gave him a hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of grain and ten thousand measures of barley. And the children of Ammon gave him the same amount the second year and the third.
27:6	[hb5]	約坦在耶和華他　神面前行正道、以致日漸強盛。
	[kjv]	So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God.
	[bbe]	So Jotham became strong, because in all his ways he made the Lord his guide.
27:7	[hb5]	約坦其餘的事、和一切爭戰、並他的行為、都寫在以色列和猶大列王記上。
	[kjv]	Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
	[bbe]	Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars and his ways, are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.
27:8	[hb5]	他登基的時候年二十五歲、在耶路撒冷作王十六年。
	[kjv]	He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.
	[bbe]	He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he was ruling in Jerusalem for sixteen years.
27:9	[hb5]	約坦與他列祖同睡、葬在大衛城裡．他兒子亞哈斯接續他作王。
	[kjv]	And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his stead.
	[bbe]	And Jotham went to rest with his fathers, and they put his body into the earth in the town of David; and Ahaz his son became king in his place.
