8:1	[hb5]	所羅門建造耶和華殿和王宮、二十年纔完畢了．
	[kjv]	And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of the LORD, and his own house,
	[bbe]	Now at the end of twenty years, in which time Solomon had put up the house of the Lord and a house for himself,
8:2	[hb5]	以後所羅門重新修築希蘭送給他的那些城邑、使以色列人住在那裡。
	[kjv]	That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
	[bbe]	He took in hand the building up of the towns which Huram had given him, causing the children of Israel to make living-places for themselves there.
8:3	[hb5]	所羅門往哈馬瑣巴去、攻取了那地方。
	[kjv]	And Solomon went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.
	[bbe]	And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and overcame it.
8:4	[hb5]	所羅門建造曠野裡的達莫、又建造、哈馬所有的積貨城。
	[kjv]	And he built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the store cities, which he built in Hamath.
	[bbe]	And he put up the buildings of Tadmor in the waste land, and of all the store-towns in Hamath;
8:5	[hb5]	又建造上伯和崙下伯和崙、作為保障、都有牆、有門、有閂．
	[kjv]	Also he built Bethhoron the upper, and Bethhoron the nether, fenced cities, with walls, gates, and bars;
	[bbe]	And of Beth-horon the higher and the lower, walled towns with walls and doorways and locks;
8:6	[hb5]	又建造巴拉和所有的積貨城、並屯車輛馬兵的城、與耶路撒冷利巴嫩以及自己治理的全國中所願意建造的。
	[kjv]	And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.
	[bbe]	And of Baalath, and all the store-towns which Solomon had, and the towns where he kept his war-carriages and his horse men, and everything which it was his pleasure to put up in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all the land under his rule.
8:7	[hb5]	至於國中所剩下不屬以色列人的赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人、
	[kjv]	As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which were not of Israel,
	[bbe]	As for all the rest of the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel:
8:8	[hb5]	就是以色列人未曾滅絕的、所羅門挑取他們的後裔作服苦的奴僕、直到今日。
	[kjv]	But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.
	[bbe]	Their men who were still living in the land, and whom the children of Israel had not put an end to, these Solomon put to forced work, as is done to this day;
8:9	[hb5]	惟有以色列人、所羅門不使他們當奴僕作工、乃是作他的戰士、軍長的統領、車兵長、馬兵長．
	[kjv]	But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.
	[bbe]	But Solomon did not make use of the children of Israel as servants for his work; they were men of war, his chiefs and his captains, and captains of his war-carriages and his horsemen.
8:10	[hb5]	所羅門王有二百五十督工的、監管工人。
	[kjv]	And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.
	[bbe]	Now these were the chief men in authority whom King Solomon had: two hundred and fifty of them, in authority over the people.
8:11	[hb5]	所羅門將法老的女兒帶出大衛城、上到為他建造的宮裡．因所羅門說、耶和華約櫃所到之處、都為聖地、所以我的妻不可住在以色列王大衛的宮裡。
	[kjv]	And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.
	[bbe]	Then Solomon made Pharaoh's daughter come up from the town of David to the house which he had made for her; for he said, I will not have my wife living in the house of David, king of Israel, because those places where the ark of the Lord has come are holy.
8:12	[hb5]	所羅門在耶和華的壇上、就是在廊子前他所築的壇上、與耶和華獻燔祭、
	[kjv]	Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,
	[bbe]	Then Solomon made burned offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord which he had put up in front of the covered way,
8:13	[hb5]	又遵著摩西的吩咐在安息日、月朔、並一年三節、就是除酵節、七七節、住棚節、獻每日所當獻的祭。
	[kjv]	Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
	[bbe]	Offering every day what had been ordered by Moses, on the Sabbaths and at the new moon and at the regular feasts three times a year, that is at the feast of unleavened bread, the feast of weeks, and the feast of tents.
8:14	[hb5]	所羅門照著他父大衛所定的例、派定祭司的班次、使他們各供己事、又使利未人各盡其職、讚美耶和華、在祭司面前作每日所當作的、又派守門的按著班次看守各門．因為神人大衛是這樣吩咐的．
	[kjv]	And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
	[bbe]	And he gave the divisions of the priests their places for their work, as ordered by his father David, and to the Levites he gave their work of praise and waiting on the priests, to do what was needed day by day; and he gave the door-keepers their places in turn at every door; for so David, the man of God, had given orders.
8:15	[hb5]	王所吩咐眾祭司和利未人的、無論是管府庫、或辦別的事、他們都不違背。
	[kjv]	And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.
	[bbe]	All the orders given by the king to the priests and Levites, in connection with any business or stores, were done with care.
8:16	[hb5]	所羅門建造耶和華的殿、從立根基直到成功的日子、工料俱備。這樣、耶和華的殿全然完畢。
	[kjv]	Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected.
	[bbe]	And all the work of Solomon was complete, from the day when he put the base of the Lord's house in position, till Solomon had come to the end of building the Lord's house.
8:17	[hb5]	那時所羅門往以東地靠海的以旬迦別和以祿去。
	[kjv]	Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.
	[bbe]	Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth by the sea in the land of Edom.
8:18	[hb5]	希蘭差遣他的臣僕、將船隻和熟悉泛海的僕人、送到所羅門那裡．他們同著所羅門的僕人到了俄斐、得了四百五十他連得金子、運到所羅門王那裡。
	[kjv]	And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.
	[bbe]	And Huram sent him, by his servants, ships and experienced seamen, who went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir and came back with four hundred and fifty talents of gold, which they took to King Solomon.
