13:1	[hb5]	大衛與千夫長、百夫長、就是一切首領商議。
	[kjv]	And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader.
	[bbe]	Then David had discussions with the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds and with every chief.
13:2	[hb5]	大衛對以色列全會眾說、你們若以為美、見這事是出於耶和華我們的　神、我們就差遣人走遍以色列地、見我們未來的弟兄、又見住在有郊野之城的祭司利未人、使他們都到這裡來聚集．
	[kjv]	And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:
	[bbe]	And David said to all the men of Israel who had come together there, If it seems good to you and if it is the purpose of the Lord our God, let us send to all the rest of our brothers, everywhere in the land of Israel, and to the priests and the Levites in their towns and the country round them, and get them to come together here to us;
13:3	[hb5]	我們要把　神的約櫃運到我們這裡來．因為在掃羅年間、我們沒有在約櫃前求問　神。
	[kjv]	And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul.
	[bbe]	And let us get back for ourselves the ark of our God: for in the days of Saul we did not go to it for directions.
13:4	[hb5]	全會眾都說、可以如此行．這事在眾民眼中、都看為好。
	[kjv]	And all the congregation said that they would do so: for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people.
	[bbe]	And all the people said they would do so, for it seemed right to them.
13:5	[hb5]	於是大衛將以色列人、從埃及的西曷河、直到哈馬口、都招聚了來、要從基列耶琳將　神的約櫃運來。
	[kjv]	So David gathered all Israel together, from Shihor of Egypt even unto the entering of Hemath, to bring the ark of God from Kirjathjearim.
	[bbe]	So David sent for all Israel to come together, from Shihor, the river of Egypt, as far as the way into Hamath, to get the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.
13:6	[hb5]	大衛率領以色列眾人、上到巴拉、就是屬猶大的基列耶琳、要從那裡將約櫃運來．這約櫃就是坐在二基路伯上、耶和華　神留名的約櫃。
	[kjv]	And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of God the LORD, that dwelleth between the cherubims, whose name is called on it.
	[bbe]	And David went up, with all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim in Judah, to get up from there the ark of God, over which the holy Name is named, the name of the Lord whose place is between the winged ones.
13:7	[hb5]	他們將　神的約櫃、從亞比拿達的家裡抬出來、放在新車上．烏撒和亞希約趕車。
	[kjv]	And they carried the ark of God in a new cart out of the house of Abinadab: and Uzza and Ahio drave the cart.
	[bbe]	And they put the ark of God on a new cart, and took it out of the house of Abinadab; and Uzza and Ahio were the drivers of the cart.
13:8	[hb5]	大衛和以色列眾人、在　神前用琴、瑟、鑼鼓、號、作樂、極力跳舞歌唱。
	[kjv]	And David and all Israel played before God with all their might, and with singing, and with harps, and with psalteries, and with timbrels, and with cymbals, and with trumpets.
	[bbe]	Then David and all Israel made melody before God with all their strength, with songs and corded instruments of music, and with brass instruments and horns.
13:9	[hb5]	到了基頓的禾場、〔基頓撒母耳下六章六節作拿艮〕因為牛失前蹄、〔或作驚跳〕烏撒就伸手扶住約櫃。
	[kjv]	And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled.
	[bbe]	And when they came to the grain-floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to keep the ark in its place, for the oxen were slipping.
13:10	[hb5]	耶和華向他發怒、因他伸手扶住約櫃擊殺他、他就死在　神面前。
	[kjv]	And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God.
	[bbe]	And the wrath of the Lord, burning against Uzza, sent destruction on him because he had put his hand on the ark, and death came to him there before God.
13:11	[hb5]	大衛因耶和華擊殺〔原文作闖殺〕烏撒、心裡愁煩、就稱那地方為毗列斯烏撒、直到今日。
	[kjv]	And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day.
	[bbe]	And David was angry because of the Lord's outburst of wrath against Uzza, and he gave that place the name Perez-uzza, to this day.
13:12	[hb5]	那日大衛懼怕　神、說、　神的約櫃、怎可運到我這裡來。
	[kjv]	And David was afraid of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me?
	[bbe]	And so great was David's fear of God that day, that he said, How may I let the ark of God come to me?
13:13	[hb5]	於是大衛不將約櫃運進大衛的城、卻運到迦特人俄別以東的家中。
	[kjv]	So David brought not the ark home to himself to the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obededom the Gittite.
	[bbe]	So David did not let the ark come back to him to the town of David, but had it turned away and put into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.
13:14	[hb5]	神的約櫃在俄別以東家中三個月．耶和華賜福給俄別以東的家和他一切所有的。
	[kjv]	And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. And the LORD blessed the house of Obededom, and all that he had.
	[bbe]	And the ark of God was in the house of Obed-edom for three months; and the Lord sent a blessing on the house of Obed-edom and on all he had.
