22:1	[hb5]	大衛吩咐聚集住以色列地的外邦人、從其中派石匠鑿石頭、要建造　神的殿。
	[kjv]	Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.
	[bbe]	Then David said, This is the house of the Lord God, and this is the altar for Israel's burned offerings.
22:2	[hb5]	大衛預備許多鐵、作門上的釘子和鉤子．又預備許多銅、多得無法可稱．
	[kjv]	And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.
	[bbe]	And David gave orders to get together all the men from strange lands who were in the land of Israel; and he put stone-cutters to work, cutting stones for building the house of God.
22:3	[hb5]	又預備無數的香柏木．因為西頓人和推羅人、給大衛運了許多香柏木來。
	[kjv]	And David prepared iron in abundance for the nails for the doors of the gates, and for the joinings; and brass in abundance without weight;
	[bbe]	And he got together a great store of iron, for the nails for the doors and for the joins; and brass, more in weight than might be measured;
22:4	[hb5]	大衛說、我兒子所羅門、還年幼嬌嫩、要為耶和華建造的殿宇、必須高大輝煌、使名譽榮耀、傳遍萬國．所以我要為殿預備材料。於是大衛在未死之先預備的材料甚多。
	[kjv]	Also cedar trees in abundance: for the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David.
	[bbe]	And cedar-trees without number, for the Zidonians and the men of Tyre came with a great amount of cedar-trees for David.
22:5	[hb5]	大衛召了他兒子所羅門來、囑咐他給耶和華以色列的　神建造殿宇．
	[kjv]	And David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be builded for the LORD must be exceeding magnifical, of fame and of glory throughout all countries: I will therefore now make preparation for it. So David prepared abundantly before his death.
	[bbe]	And David said, Solomon my son is young and untested, and the house which is to be put up for the Lord is to be very great, a thing of wonder and glory through all countries; so I will make ready what is needed for it. So David got ready a great store of material before his death.
22:6	[hb5]	對所羅門說、我兒阿、我心裡本想為耶和華我　神的名建造殿宇。
	[kjv]	Then he called for Solomon his son, and charged him to build an house for the LORD God of Israel.
	[bbe]	Then he sent for his son Solomon, and gave him orders for the building of a house for the Lord, the God of Israel.
22:7	[hb5]	只是耶和華的話臨到我、說、你流了多人的血、打了多次大仗．你不可為我的名建造殿宇、因為你在我眼前使多人的血流在地上。
	[kjv]	And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:
	[bbe]	And David said to Solomon, My son, it was my desire to put up a house for the name of the Lord my God.
22:8	[hb5]	你要生一個兒子．他必作太平的人．我必使他安靜、不被四圍的仇敵擾亂．他的名要叫所羅門．〔即太平之意〕他在位的日子、我必使以色列人平安康泰。
	[kjv]	But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight.
	[bbe]	But the word of the Lord came to me saying, You have taken lives without number and made great wars; I will not let you be the builder of a house for my name, because of the lives you have taken on the earth before my eyes.
22:9	[hb5]	他必為我的名建造殿宇．他要作我的子、我要作他的父．他作以色列王、我必堅定他的國位、直到永遠。
	[kjv]	Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days.
	[bbe]	But you will have a son who will be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from wars on every side. His name will be Solomon, and in his time I will give Israel peace and quiet;
22:10	[hb5]	我兒阿、現今願耶和華與你同在、使你亨通、照他指著你說的話、建造耶和華你　神的殿。
	[kjv]	He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever.
	[bbe]	He will be the builder of a house for my name; he will be to me a son, and I will be to him a father; and I will make the seat of his rule over Israel certain for ever.
22:11	[hb5]	但願耶和華賜你聰明智慧、好治理以色列國、遵行耶和華你　神的律法。
	[kjv]	Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, as he hath said of thee.
	[bbe]	Now, my son, may the Lord be with you; and may you do well, and put up the house of the Lord your God, as he has said of you.
22:12	[hb5]	你若謹守遵行耶和華藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例典章、就得亨通．你當剛強壯膽、不要懼怕、也不要驚惶。
	[kjv]	Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of the LORD thy God.
	[bbe]	Only may the Lord give you wisdom, and knowledge of his orders for Israel, so that you may keep the law of the Lord your God.
22:13	[hb5]	我在困難之中為耶和華的殿預備了金子十萬他連得、銀子一百萬他連得、銅和鐵、多得無法可稱．我也預備了木頭、石頭、你還可以增添。
	[kjv]	Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed.
	[bbe]	And all will go well for you, if you take care to keep the laws and the rules which the Lord gave to Moses for Israel: be strong and take heart; have no fear and do not be troubled.
22:14	[hb5]	你有許多匠人、就是石匠、木匠、和一切能作各樣工的巧匠．
	[kjv]	Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber also and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto.
	[bbe]	Now see, poor though I am, I have got ready for the house of the Lord a hundred thousand talents of gold and a million talents of silver; and a weight of brass and iron greater than may be measured; and wood and stone have I made ready, and you may put more to it.
22:15	[hb5]	並有無數的金、銀、銅、鐵。你當起來辦事．願耶和華與你同在。
	[kjv]	Moreover there are workmen with thee in abundance, hewers and workers of stone and timber, and all manner of cunning men for every manner of work.
	[bbe]	And you have a great number of workmen, cutters and workers of stone and wood, and experts in every sort of work,
22:16	[hb5]	大衛又吩咐以色列的眾首領幫助他兒子所羅門、說、
	[kjv]	Of the gold, the silver, and the brass, and the iron, there is no number. Arise therefore, and be doing, and the LORD be with thee.
	[bbe]	In gold and silver and brass and iron more than may be numbered. Up! then, and to work; and may the Lord be with you.
22:17	[hb5]	耶和華你們的　神不是與你們同在麼．不是叫你們四圍都平安麼．因他已將這地的居民交在我手中．這地就在耶和華與他百姓面前制伏了。
	[kjv]	David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,
	[bbe]	Then David gave orders to all the chiefs of Israel to give their help to Solomon his son, saying,
22:18	[hb5]	現在你們應當立定心意、尋求耶和華你們的　神．也當起來建造耶和華　神的聖所、好將耶和華的約櫃、和供奉　神的聖器皿、都搬進為耶和華名建造的殿裡。
	[kjv]	Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
	[bbe]	Is not the Lord your God with you? and has he not given you rest on every side? for the Lord has given the people of the land into my hands, and the land is overcome before the Lord and before his people.
