5:1	[hb5]	以色列的長子原是流便、因他污穢了父親的床、他長子的名分就歸了約瑟、只是按家譜他不算長子。
	[kjv]	Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel, (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father's bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Joseph the son of Israel: and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.
	[bbe]	And the sons of Reuben, the oldest son of Israel, (for he was the oldest son, but, because he made his father's bride-bed unclean, his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph, the son of Israel; but he is not to be given the place of the oldest.
5:2	[hb5]	猶大勝過一切弟兄、君王也是從他而出．長子的名分卻歸約瑟。
	[kjv]	For Judah prevailed above his brethren, and of him came the chief ruler; but the birthright was Joseph's:)
	[bbe]	Though Judah became stronger than his brothers, and from him came the ruler, the birthright was Joseph's:)
5:3	[hb5]	以色列長子流便的兒子是哈諾、法路、希斯倫、迦米。
	[kjv]	The sons, I say, of Reuben the firstborn of Israel were, Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi.
	[bbe]	The sons of Reuben, the oldest son of Israel: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.
5:4	[hb5]	約珥的兒子是示瑪雅、示瑪雅的兒子是歌革、歌革的兒子是示每、
	[kjv]	The sons of Joel; Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
	[bbe]	The sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,
5:5	[hb5]	示每的兒子是米迦、米迦的兒子是利亞雅、利亞雅的兒子是巴力、
	[kjv]	Micah his son, Reaia his son, Baal his son,
	[bbe]	Micah his son, Reaiah his son, Baal his son,
5:6	[hb5]	巴力的兒子是備拉．這備拉作流便支派的首領、被亞述王提革拉毗尼色擄去。
	[kjv]	Beerah his son, whom Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria carried away captive: he was prince of the Reubenites.
	[bbe]	Beerah his son, whom Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, took away as a prisoner: he was chief of the Reubenites.
5:7	[hb5]	他的弟兄照著宗族、按著家譜作族長的是耶利、撒迦利雅、比拉。
	[kjv]	And his brethren by their families, when the genealogy of their generations was reckoned, were the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
	[bbe]	And his brothers by their families, when the list of their generations was made up: the chief, Jeiel, and Zechariah,
5:8	[hb5]	比拉是亞撒的兒子、亞撒是示瑪的兒子、示瑪是約珥的兒子．約珥所住的地方是從亞羅珥、直到尼波和巴力免、
	[kjv]	And Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, even unto Nebo and Baalmeon:
	[bbe]	And Bela, the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who was living in Aroer, as far as Nebo and Baal-meon;
5:9	[hb5]	又向東延到伯拉河這邊的曠野、因為他們在基列地牲畜增多。
	[kjv]	And eastward he inhabited unto the entering in of the wilderness from the river Euphrates: because their cattle were multiplied in the land of Gilead.
	[bbe]	And to the east his limits went as far as the starting point of the waste land, ending at the river Euphrates, because their cattle were increased in number in the land of Gilead.
5:10	[hb5]	掃羅年間他們與夏甲人爭戰、夏甲人倒在他們手下、他們就在基列東邊的全地、住在夏甲人的帳棚裡。
	[kjv]	And in the days of Saul they made war with the Hagarites, who fell by their hand: and they dwelt in their tents throughout all the east land of Gilead.
	[bbe]	And in the days of Saul they made war on the Hagarites, and overcame them; and they put up their tents through all the land east of Gilead.
5:11	[hb5]	迦得的子孫在流便對面住在巴珊地、延到撒迦。
	[kjv]	And the children of Gad dwelt over against them, in the land of Bashan unto Salcah:
	[bbe]	And the sons of Gad were living opposite to them, in the land of Bashan as far as Salecah:
5:12	[hb5]	他們中間有作族長的約珥、有作副族長的沙番、還有雅乃和住在巴珊的沙法。
	[kjv]	Joel the chief, and Shapham the next, and Jaanai, and Shaphat in Bashan.
	[bbe]	Joel the chief, and Shapham the second, and Janai and Shaphat in Bashan;
5:13	[hb5]	他們族弟兄是米迦勒、米書蘭、示巴、約賴、雅干、細亞、希伯、共七人。
	[kjv]	And their brethren of the house of their fathers were, Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Jorai, and Jachan, and Zia, and Heber, seven.
	[bbe]	And their brothers, the men of their family: Michael and Meshullam and Sheba and Jorai and Jacan and Zia and Eber, seven of them.
5:14	[hb5]	這都是亞比孩的兒子．亞比孩是戶利的兒子、戶利是耶羅亞的兒子、耶羅亞是基列的兒子、基列是米迦勒的兒子、米迦勒是耶示篩的兒子、耶示篩是耶哈多的兒子、耶哈多是布斯的兒子．
	[kjv]	These are the children of Abihail the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
	[bbe]	These were the sons of Abihail, the son of Huri, the son of Jaroah, the son of Gilead, the son of Michael, the son of Jeshishai, the son of Jahdo, the son of Buz;
5:15	[hb5]	還有古尼的孫子、押比疊的兒子亞希．這都是作族長的。
	[kjv]	Ahi the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, chief of the house of their fathers.
	[bbe]	Ahi, the son of Abdiel, the son of Guni, head of their families.
5:16	[hb5]	他們住在基列、與巴珊、和巴珊的鄉村、並沙崙的郊野、直到四圍的交界。
	[kjv]	And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in her towns, and in all the suburbs of Sharon, upon their borders.
	[bbe]	And they were living in Gilead in Bashan, in its small towns and in all the grass-land of Sirion as far as its limits.
5:17	[hb5]	這些人在猶大王約坦並在以色列王耶羅波安年間、都載入家譜。
	[kjv]	All these were reckoned by genealogies in the days of Jotham king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam king of Israel.
	[bbe]	All these were listed under the names of their families, in the time of Jotham, king of Judah, and in the time of Jeroboam, king of Israel.
5:18	[hb5]	流便人、迦得人、和瑪拿西半支派的人、能拿盾牌和刀劍、拉弓射箭、出征善戰的勇士、共有四萬四千七百六十名。
	[kjv]	The sons of Reuben, and the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, of valiant men, men able to bear buckler and sword, and to shoot with bow, and skilful in war, were four and forty thousand seven hundred and threescore, that went out to the war.
	[bbe]	There were forty-four thousand, seven hundred and sixty of the sons of Reuben and of the Gadites and of the half-tribe of Manasseh, all strong men, expert in the use of the body-cover, the sword, and the bow, and in the art of war, all able to take up arms.
5:19	[hb5]	他們與夏甲人、伊突人、拿非施人、挪答人爭戰．
	[kjv]	And they made war with the Hagarites, with Jetur, and Nephish, and Nodab.
	[bbe]	And they went to war against the Hagarites, with Jetur and Naphish and Nodab.
5:20	[hb5]	他們得了　神的幫助、夏甲人和跟隨夏甲的人、都交在他們手中、因為他們在陣上呼求　神、倚賴　神、　神就應允他們。
	[kjv]	And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him.
	[bbe]	And they were helped against them, so that the Hagarites, and those with them, were given into their power. For they sent up prayers to God in the fight, and he gave ear to them, because they put their faith in him.
5:21	[hb5]	他們擄掠了夏甲人的牲畜、有駱駝五萬、羊二十五萬、驢二千．又有人十萬。
	[kjv]	And they took away their cattle; of their camels fifty thousand, and of sheep two hundred and fifty thousand, and of asses two thousand, and of men an hundred thousand.
	[bbe]	And they took away their cattle: fifty thousand camels, two hundred and fifty thousand sheep, and two thousand asses, and a hundred thousand men.
5:22	[hb5]	敵人被殺仆倒的甚多、因為這爭戰是出乎　神．他們就住在敵人的地上、直到被擄的時候。
	[kjv]	For there fell down many slain, because the war was of God. And they dwelt in their steads until the captivity.
	[bbe]	And a very great number went to their death, because the war was God's purpose. And they went on living in their place till they were taken away as prisoners.
5:23	[hb5]	瑪拿西半支派的人住在那地．從巴珊延到巴力黑們、示尼珥、與黑門山。
	[kjv]	And the children of the half tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land: they increased from Bashan unto Baalhermon and Senir, and unto mount Hermon.
	[bbe]	And the men of the half-tribe of Manasseh were living in the land: and their numbers were increased till all the land from Bashan to Baal-hermon and Senir and the mountain Hermon was theirs.
5:24	[hb5]	他們的族長是以弗、以示、以列、亞斯列、耶利米、何達威雅、雅疊．都是大能的勇士、是有名的人、也是作族長的。
	[kjv]	And these were the heads of the house of their fathers, even Epher, and Ishi, and Eliel, and Azriel, and Jeremiah, and Hodaviah, and Jahdiel, mighty men of valour, famous men, and heads of the house of their fathers.
	[bbe]	And these were the heads of their families: Epher and Ishi and Eliel and Azriel and Jeremiah and Hodaviah and Jahdiel, men of war, of great name, heads of families.
5:25	[hb5]	他們得罪了他們列祖的　神、隨從那地之民的神行邪淫．這民就是　神在他們面前所除滅的。
	[kjv]	And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
	[bbe]	And they did evil against the God of their fathers, worshipping the gods of the people of the land, whom God had put to destruction before them.
5:26	[hb5]	故此、以色列的　神激動亞述王普勒、和亞述王提革拉毗尼色的心、他們就把流便人、迦得人、瑪拿西半支派的人、擄到哈臘、哈博、哈拉與歌散河邊、直到今日還在那裡。
	[kjv]	And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.
	[bbe]	And the God of Israel put an impulse into the heart of Pul, king of Assyria, and of Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, who took them away as prisoners, all the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, to Halah and Habor and Hara and to the river of Gozan, to this day.
