以賽亞書 Isaiah

37:1	[hb5]	希西家王聽見、就撕裂衣服、披上麻布、進了耶和華的殿。
	[kjv]	And it came to pass, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he rent his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of the LORD.
	[bbe]	And on hearing it Hezekiah took off his robe and put on haircloth and went into the house of the Lord.
37:2	[hb5]	使家宰以利亞敬、和書記舍伯那、並祭司中的長老、都披上麻布、去見亞摩斯的兒子先知以賽亞。
	[kjv]	And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests covered with sackcloth, unto Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.
	[bbe]	And he sent Eliakim, who was over the house, and Shebna the scribe, and the chief priests, dressed in haircloth, to Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz.
37:3	[hb5]	對他說、希西家如此說、今日是急難、責罰、凌辱的日子、就如婦人將要生產嬰孩、卻沒有力量生產
	[kjv]	And they said unto him, Thus saith Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of blasphemy: for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.
	[bbe]	And they said to him, Hezekiah says, This day is a day of trouble and punishment and shame: for the children are ready to come to birth, but there is no strength to give birth to them.
37:4	[hb5]	或者耶和華你的　神、聽見拉伯沙基的話、就是他主人亞述王打發他來辱罵永生　神的話．耶和華你的　神聽見這話就發斥責．故此求你為餘剩的民、揚聲禱告。
	[kjv]	It may be the LORD thy God will hear the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master hath sent to reproach the living God, and will reprove the words which the LORD thy God hath heard: wherefore lift up thy prayer for the remnant that is left.
	[bbe]	It may be that the Lord your God will give ear to the words of the Rab-shakeh, whom the king of Assyria, his master, has sent to say evil things against the living God, and will make his words come to nothing: so make your prayer for the rest of the people.
37:5	[hb5]	希西家王的臣僕、就去見以賽亞。
	[kjv]	So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
	[bbe]	So the servants of King Hezekiah came to Isaiah.
37:6	[hb5]	以賽亞對他們說、要這樣對你們的主人說、耶和華如此說、你聽見亞述王的僕人褻瀆我的話、不要懼怕。
	[kjv]	And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.
	[bbe]	And Isaiah said to them, This is what you are to say to your master: The Lord says, Be not troubled by the words which the servants of the king of Assyria have said against me in your hearing.
37:7	[hb5]	我必驚動〔原文作使靈進入〕他的心、他要聽見風聲就歸回本地、我必使他在那裡倒在刀下。
	[kjv]	Behold, I will send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a rumour, and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.
	[bbe]	See, I will put a spirit into him, and bad news will come to his ears, and he will go back to his land; and there I will have him put to death.
37:8	[hb5]	拉伯沙基回去、正遇見亞述王攻打立拿．原來他早聽見亞述王拔營離開拉吉。
	[kjv]	So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.
	[bbe]	So the Rab-shakeh went back, and when he got there the king of Assyria was making war against Libnah: for it had come to his ears that the king of Assyria had gone away from Lachish.
37:9	[hb5]	亞述王聽見人論古實王特哈加說、他出來要與你爭戰。亞述王一聽見、就打發使者去見希西家、吩咐他們說、
	[kjv]	And he heard say concerning Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, He is come forth to make war with thee. And when he heard it, he sent messengers to Hezekiah, saying,
	[bbe]	And when news came to him that Tirhakah, king of Ethiopia, had made an attack on him, ... And he sent representatives to Hezekiah, king of Judah, saying,
37:10	[hb5]	你們對猶大王希西家如此說、不要聽你所倚靠的　神欺哄你、說、耶路撒冷必不交在亞述王的手中。
	[kjv]	Thus shall ye speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Let not thy God, in whom thou trustest, deceive thee, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.
	[bbe]	This is what you are to say to Hezekiah, king of Judah: Let not your God, in whom is your faith, give you a false hope, saying, Jerusalem will not be given into the hands of the king of Assyria.
37:11	[hb5]	你總聽說亞述諸王向列國所行的、乃是盡行滅絕、難道你還能得救麼。
	[kjv]	Behold, thou hast heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands by destroying them utterly; and shalt thou be delivered?
	[bbe]	No doubt the story has come to your ears of what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, putting them to the curse: and will you be kept safe from their fate?
37:12	[hb5]	我列祖所毀滅的、就是歌散、哈蘭、利色、和屬提拉撒的伊甸人．這些國的神、何曾拯救這些國呢。
	[kjv]	Have the gods of the nations delivered them which my fathers have destroyed, as Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden which were in Telassar?
	[bbe]	Did the gods of the nations keep safe those on whom my fathers sent destruction, Gozan and Haran and Rezeph, and the children of Eden who were in Telassar?
37:13	[hb5]	哈馬的王、亞珥拔的王、西法瓦音城的王、希拿和以瓦的王、都在哪裡呢。
	[kjv]	Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arphad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, Hena, and Ivah?
	[bbe]	Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the town of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivva?
37:14	[hb5]	希西家從使者手裡接過書信來、看完了、就上耶和華的殿、將書信在耶和華面前展開。
	[kjv]	And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD.
	[bbe]	And Hezekiah took the letter from the hands of those who had come with it; and after reading it, Hezekiah went up to the house of the Lord, opening the letter there before the Lord,
37:15	[hb5]	希西家向耶和華禱告說、
	[kjv]	And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying,
	[bbe]	And he made prayer to the Lord, saying,
37:16	[hb5]	坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華以色列的　神阿、你、惟有你、是天下萬國的　神．你曾創造天地。
	[kjv]	O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
	[bbe]	O Lord of armies, the God of Israel, seated between the winged ones, you only are the God of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.
37:17	[hb5]	耶和華阿、求你側耳而聽．耶和華阿、求你睜眼而看．要聽西拿基立的一切話、他是打發使者來辱罵永生　神的。
	[kjv]	Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.
	[bbe]	Let your ear be turned to us, O Lord; let your eyes be open, O Lord, and see: take note of all the words of Sennacherib who has sent men to say evil against the living God.
37:18	[hb5]	耶和華阿、亞述諸王果然使列國、和列國之地變為荒涼．
	[kjv]	Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,
	[bbe]	Truly, O Lord, the kings of Assyria have made waste all the nations and their lands,
37:19	[hb5]	將列國的神像都扔在火裡、因為他本不是神、乃是人手所造的、是木頭、石頭的、所以滅絕他。
	[kjv]	And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
	[bbe]	And have given their gods to the fire: for they were no gods, but wood and stone, the work of men's hands; so they have given them to destruction.
37:20	[hb5]	耶和華我們的　神阿、現在求你救我們脫離亞述王的手、使天下萬國都知道惟有你是耶和華。
	[kjv]	Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.
	[bbe]	But now, O Lord our God, give us salvation from his hand, so that it may be clear to all the kingdoms of the earth that you, and you only, are the Lord.
37:21	[hb5]	亞摩斯的兒子以賽亞、就打發人去見希西家說、耶和華以色列的　神如此說、你既然求我攻擊亞述王西拿基立、
	[kjv]	Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:
	[bbe]	Then Isaiah, the son of Amoz, sent to Hezekiah, saying, The Lord, the God of Israel, says, The prayer you have made to me against Sennacherib, king of Assyria, has come to my ears.
37:22	[hb5]	所以耶和華論他這樣說、錫安的處女藐視你、嗤笑你、耶路撒冷的女子向你搖頭。
	[kjv]	This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
	[bbe]	This is the word which the Lord has said about him: In the eyes of the virgin daughter of Zion you are shamed and laughed at; the daughter of Jerusalem has made sport of you.
37:23	[hb5]	你辱罵誰、褻瀆誰、揚起聲來、高舉眼目攻擊誰呢、乃是攻擊以色列的聖者。
	[kjv]	Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
	[bbe]	Against whom have you said evil and bitter things? and against whom has your voice been loud and your eyes lifted up? even against the Holy One of Israel.
37:24	[hb5]	你藉你的臣僕辱罵主、說、我率領許多戰車上山頂、到利巴嫩極深之處、我要砍伐其中高大的香柏樹、和佳美的松樹、我必上極高之處、進入肥田的樹林。
	[kjv]	By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.
	[bbe]	You have sent your servants with evil words against the Lord, and have said, With all my war-carriages I have come up to the top of the mountains, to the inmost parts of Lebanon; and its tall cedars will be cut down, and the best trees of its woods: I will come up into his highest places, into his thick woods.
37:25	[hb5]	我已經挖井喝水．我必用腳掌踏乾埃及的一切河。
	[kjv]	I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.
	[bbe]	I have made water-holes and taken their waters, and with my foot I have made all the rivers of Egypt dry.
37:26	[hb5]	耶和華說、你豈沒有聽見我早先所作的、古時所立的麼、現在藉你使堅固城荒廢、變為亂堆。
	[kjv]	Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.
	[bbe]	Has it not come to your ears how I did it long before, purposing it in times long past? Now I have given effect to my design, so that by you strong towns might be turned into masses of broken walls.
37:27	[hb5]	所以其中的居民力量甚小、驚惶羞愧．他們像野草、像青菜、如房頂上的草、又如田間未長成的禾稼、
	[kjv]	Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
	[bbe]	This is why their townsmen had no power, they were broken and put to shame; they were like the grass of the field, or a green plant; like the grass on the house-tops, which a cold wind makes waste.
37:28	[hb5]	你坐下、你出去、你進來、你向我發烈怒、我都知道。
	[kjv]	But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.
	[bbe]	But I have knowledge of your getting up and your resting, of your going out and your coming in.
37:29	[hb5]	因你向我發烈怒、又因你狂傲的話達到我耳中、我就要用鉤子鉤上你的鼻子、把嚼環放在你口裡、使你從原路轉回去。
	[kjv]	Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
	[bbe]	Because your wrath against me and your pride have come to my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my cord in your lips, and I will make you go back by the way you came.
37:30	[hb5]	以色列人哪、我賜你們一個證據、你們今年要喫自生的、明年也要喫自長的、至於後年、你們要耕種收割、栽植葡萄園、喫其中的果子。
	[kjv]	And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
	[bbe]	And this will be the sign to you: you will get your food this year from what comes up of itself, and in the second year from the produce of the same; and in the third year you will put in your seed, and get in the grain, and make vine-gardens, and take of their fruit.
37:31	[hb5]	猶大家所逃脫餘剩的、仍要往下扎根、向上結果。
	[kjv]	And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
	[bbe]	And those of Judah who are still living will again take root in the earth, and give fruit.
37:32	[hb5]	必有餘剩的民、從耶路撒冷而出、必有逃脫的人、從錫安山而來．萬軍之耶和華的熱心必成就這事。
	[kjv]	For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
	[bbe]	For from Jerusalem those who have been kept safe will go out, and those who are still living will go out of Mount Zion: by the fixed purpose of the Lord of armies this will be done.
37:33	[hb5]	所以耶和華論亞述王如此說、他必不得來到這城、也不在這裡射箭、不得拿盾牌到城前、也不築壘攻城。
	[kjv]	Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank against it.
	[bbe]	For this cause the Lord says about the king of Assyria, He will not come into this town, or send an arrow against it; he will not come before it with arms, or put up an earthwork against it.
37:34	[hb5]	他從那條路來、必從那條路回去、必不得來到這城．這是耶和華說的。
	[kjv]	By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and shall not come into this city, saith the LORD.
	[bbe]	By the way he came he will go back, and he will not get into this town.
37:35	[hb5]	因我為自己的緣故、又為我僕人大衛的緣故、必保護拯救這城。
	[kjv]	For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
	[bbe]	For I will keep this town safe, for my honour, and for the honour of my servant David.
37:36	[hb5]	耶和華的使者出去、在亞述營中殺了十八萬五千人．清早有人起來一看、都是死屍了。
	[kjv]	Then the angel of the LORD went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.
	[bbe]	And the angel of the Lord went out and put to death in the army of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand men: and when the people got up early in the morning, there was nothing to be seen but dead bodies.
37:37	[hb5]	亞述王西拿基立、就拔營回去、住在尼尼微。
	[kjv]	So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and dwelt at Nineveh.
	[bbe]	Sennacherib, king of Assyria, went back to his place at Nineveh.
37:38	[hb5]	一日在他的神、尼斯洛廟裡叩拜、他兒子亞得米勒、和沙利色、用刀殺了他、就逃到亞拉臘地．他兒子以撒哈頓接續他作王。
	[kjv]	And it came to pass, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer his sons smote him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Armenia: and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead.
	[bbe]	And it came about, when he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that his sons Adrammelech and Sharezer put him to death with the sword, and they went in flight into the land of Ararat. And Esar-haddon, his son, became king in his place.
