39:1[hb5] 那 時 、 巴 比 倫 王 巴 拉 但 的 兒 子 米 羅 達 巴 拉 但 、 聽 見 希 西 家 病 而 痊 愈 、 就 送 書 信 和 禮 物 給 他 。
   [kjv] At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.
   [bbe] At that time Merodach-baladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters with an offering to Hezekiah, because he had news that Hezekiah had been ill, and was well again.
39:2[hb5] 希 西 家 喜 歡 見 使 者 、 就 把 自 己 寶 庫 的 金 子 、 銀 子 、 香 料 、 貴 重 的 膏 油 、 和 他 武 庫 的 一 切 軍 器 、 並 所 有 的 財 寶 都 給 他 們 看 ． 他 家 中 和 全 國 之 內 、 希 西 家 沒 有 一 樣 不 給 他 們 看 的 。
   [kjv] And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.
   [bbe] And Hezekiah was glad at their coming, and let them see all his store of wealth, the silver and the gold and the spices and the oil, and all the house of his arms, and everything there was in his stores: there was nothing in all his house or his kingdom which he did not let them see.
39:3[hb5] 於 是 先 知 以 賽 亞 來 見 希 西 家 王 、 問 他 說 、 這 些 人 說 甚 麼 、 他 們 從 那 裡 來 見 你 ． 希 西 家 說 、 他 們 從 遠 方 的 巴 比 倫 來 見 我 。
   [kjv] Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.
   [bbe] Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and said to him, What did these men say, and where did they come from? And Hezekiah said, They came from a far country, even from Babylon.
39:4[hb5] 以 賽 亞 說 、 他 們 在 你 家 裡 看 見 了 甚 麼 ． 希 西 家 說 、 凡 我 家 中 所 有 的 、 他 們 都 看 見 了 、 我 財 寶 中 沒 有 一 樣 不 給 他 們 看 的 。
   [kjv] Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.
   [bbe] And he said, What have they seen in your house? And Hezekiah said in answer, They saw everything in my house: there is nothing among my stores which I did not let them see.
39:5[hb5] 以 賽 亞 對 希 西 家 說 、 你 要 聽 萬 軍 之 耶 和 華 的 話 ．
   [kjv] Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:
   [bbe] Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Give ear to the word of the Lord of armies:
39:6[hb5] 日 子 必 到 、 凡 你 家 裡 所 有 的 、 並 你 列 祖 積 蓄 到 如 今 的 、 都 要 被 擄 到 巴 比 倫 去 、 不 留 下 一 樣 、 這 是 耶 和 華 說 的 。
   [kjv] Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.
   [bbe] Truly, the days are coming when everything in your house, and whatever your fathers have put in store till this day, will be taken away to Babylon: all will be gone.
39:7[hb5] 並 且 從 你 本 身 所 生 的 眾 子 、 其 中 必 有 被 擄 去 、 在 巴 比 倫 王 宮 裡 當 太 監 的 。
   [kjv] And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.
   [bbe] And your sons, even your offspring, will they take away to be unsexed servants in the house of the king of Babylon.
39:8[hb5] 希 西 家 對 以 賽 亞 說 、 你 所 說 耶 和 華 的 話 甚 好 、 因 為 在 我 的 年 日 中 、 必 有 太 平 和 穩 固 的 景 況 。
   [kjv] Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.
   [bbe] Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the Lord which you have said. And he said in his heart, There will be peace and quiet in my days.
