约伯记 Job

17:1	[hgb]	我的心灵消耗，我的日子灭尽。坟墓为我预备好了。
	[bbe]	My spirit is broken, my days are ended, the last resting-place is ready for me.
17:2	[hgb]	真有戏笑我的在我这里，我眼常见他们惹动我。
	[bbe]	Truly, those who make sport of me are round about me, and my eyes become dark because of their bitter laughing.
17:3	[hgb]	愿主拿凭据给我，自己为我作保。在你以外谁肯与我击掌呢？
	[bbe]	Be pleased, now, to be responsible for me to yourself; for there is no other who will put his hand in mine.
17:4	[hgb]	因你使他们心不明理，所以你必不高举他们。
	[bbe]	You have kept their hearts from wisdom: for this cause you will not give them honour.
17:5	[hgb]	控告他的朋友，以朋友为可抢夺的，连他儿女的眼睛也要失明。
	[bbe]	As for him who is false to his friend for a reward, light will be cut off from the eyes of his children.
17:6	[hgb]	神使我作了民中的笑谈。他们也吐唾沫在我脸上。
	[bbe]	He has made me a word of shame to the peoples; I have become a mark for their sport.
17:7	[hgb]	我的眼睛因忧愁昏花。我的百体好像影儿。
	[bbe]	My eyes have become dark because of my pain, and all my body is wasted to a shade.
17:8	[hgb]	正直人因此必惊奇。无辜的人，要兴起攻击不敬虔之辈。
	[bbe]	The upright are surprised at this, and he who has done no wrong is troubled because of the evil-doers.
17:9	[hgb]	然而，义人要持守所行的道。手洁的人要力上加力。
	[bbe]	Still the upright keeps on his way, and he who has clean hands gets new strength.
17:10	[hgb]	至于你们众人，可以再来辩论吧。你们中间，我找不着一个智慧人。
	[bbe]	But come back, now, all of you, come; and I will not see a wise man among you.
17:11	[hgb]	我的日子已经过了。我的谋算，我心所想望的已经断绝。
	[bbe]	My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the desires of my heart.
17:12	[hgb]	他们以黑夜为白昼，说，亮光近乎黑暗。
	[bbe]	They are changing night into day; they say, The light is near the dark.
17:13	[hgb]	我若盼望阴间为我的房屋，若下榻在黑暗中，
	[bbe]	If I am waiting for the underworld as my house, if I have made my bed in the dark;
17:14	[hgb]	若对朽坏说，你是我的父。对虫说，你是我的母亲姐妹。
	[bbe]	If I say to the earth, You are my father; and to the worm, My mother and my sister;
17:15	[hgb]	这样，我的指望在哪里呢？我所指望的谁能看见呢？
	[bbe]	Where then is my hope? and who will see my desire?
17:16	[hgb]	等到安息在尘土中，这指望必下到阴间的门闩那里了。
	[bbe]	Will they go down with me into the underworld? Will we go down together into the dust?
