约伯记 Job

28:1	[hgb]	银子有矿，炼金有方。
	[bbe]	Truly there is a mine for silver, and a place where gold is washed out.
28:2	[hgb]	铁从地里挖出，铜从石中熔化。
	[bbe]	Iron is taken out of the earth, and stone is changed into brass by the fire.
28:3	[hgb]	人为黑暗定界限，查究幽暗阴翳的石头，直到极处。
	[bbe]	Man puts an end to the dark, searching out to the farthest limit the stones of the deep places of the dark.
28:4	[hgb]	在无人居住之处刨开矿穴，过路的人也想不到他们。又与人远离，悬在空中摇来摇去。
	[bbe]	He makes a deep mine far away from those living in the light of day; when they go about on the earth, they have no knowledge of those who are under them, who are hanging far from men, twisting from side to side on a cord.
28:5	[hgb]	至于地，能出粮食，地内好像被火翻起来。
	[bbe]	As for the earth, bread comes out of it; but under its face it is turned up as if by fire.
28:6	[hgb]	地中的石头有蓝宝石，并有金沙。
	[bbe]	Its stones are the place of sapphires, and it has dust of gold.
28:7	[hgb]	矿中的路鸷鸟不得知道，鹰眼也未见过。
	[bbe]	No bird has knowledge of it, and the hawk's eye has never seen it.
28:8	[hgb]	狂傲的野兽未曾行过。猛烈的狮子也未曾经过。
	[bbe]	The great beasts have not gone over it, and the cruel lion has not taken that way.
28:9	[hgb]	人伸手凿开坚石，倾倒山根。
	[bbe]	Man puts out his hand on the hard rock, overturning mountains by the roots.
28:10	[hgb]	在磐石中凿出水道，亲眼看见各样宝物。
	[bbe]	He makes deep ways, cut through the rock, and his eye sees everything of value.
28:11	[hgb]	他封闭水不得滴流，使隐藏的物显露出来。
	[bbe]	He keeps back the streams from flowing, and makes the secret things come out into the light.
28:12	[hgb]	然而，智慧有何处可寻？聪明之处在哪里呢？
	[bbe]	But where may wisdom be seen? and where is the resting-place of knowledge?
28:13	[hgb]	智慧的价值无人能知，在活人之地也无处可寻。
	[bbe]	Man has not seen the way to it, and it is not in the land of the living.
28:14	[hgb]	深渊说，不在我内。沧海说，不在我中。
	[bbe]	The deep waters say, It is not in me: and the sea says, It is not with me.
28:15	[hgb]	智慧非用黄金可得，也不能平白银为它的价值。
	[bbe]	Gold may not be given for it, or a weight of silver in payment for it.
28:16	[hgb]	俄斐金，和贵重的红玛瑙，并蓝宝石，不足与较量。
	[bbe]	It may not be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the onyx of great price, or the sapphire.
28:17	[hgb]	黄金，和玻璃，不足与比较。精金的器皿，不足与兑换。
	[bbe]	Gold and glass are not equal to it in price, and it may not be exchanged for jewels of the best gold.
28:18	[hgb]	珊瑚，水晶都不足论。智慧的价值胜过珍珠（或作红宝石）。
	[bbe]	There is no need to say anything about coral or crystal; and the value of wisdom is greater than that of pearls.
28:19	[hgb]	古实的红璧玺，不足与比较。精金，也不足与较量。
	[bbe]	The topaz of Ethiopia is not equal to it, and it may not be valued with the best gold.
28:20	[hgb]	智慧从何处来呢？聪明之处在哪里呢？
	[bbe]	From where then does wisdom come, and where is the resting-place of knowledge?
28:21	[hgb]	是向一切有生命的眼目隐藏，向空中的飞鸟掩蔽。
	[bbe]	For it is kept secret from the eyes of all living, unseen by the birds of the air.
28:22	[hgb]	灭没和死亡说，我们风闻其名。
	[bbe]	Destruction and Death say, We have only had word of it with our ears.
28:23	[hgb]	神明白智慧的道路，晓得智慧的所在。
	[bbe]	God has knowledge of the way to it, and of its resting-place;
28:24	[hgb]	因他鉴察直到地极，遍观普天之下。
	[bbe]	For his eyes go to the ends of the earth, and he sees everything under heaven.
28:25	[hgb]	要为风定轻重，又度量诸水。
	[bbe]	When he made a weight for the wind, measuring out the waters;
28:26	[hgb]	他为雨露定命令，为雷电定道路。
	[bbe]	When he made a law for the rain, and a way for the thunder-flames;
28:27	[hgb]	那时他看见智慧，而且述说。他坚定，并且查究。
	[bbe]	Then he saw it, and put it on record; he gave it its fixed form, searching it out completely.
28:28	[hgb]	他对人说，敬畏主就是智慧。远离恶便是聪明。
	[bbe]	And he said to man, Truly the fear of the Lord is wisdom, and to keep from evil is the way to knowledge.
