约伯记 Job

8:1	[hgb]	书亚人比勒达回答说，
	[bbe]	Then Bildad the Shuhite made answer and said,
8:2	[hgb]	这些话你要说到几时？口中的言语如狂风要到几时呢？
	[bbe]	How long will you say these things, and how long will the words of your mouth be like a strong wind?
8:3	[hgb]	神岂能偏离公平？全能者岂能偏离公义？
	[bbe]	Does God give wrong decisions? or is the Ruler of all not upright in his judging?
8:4	[hgb]	或者你的儿女得罪了他，他使他们受报应。
	[bbe]	If your children have done evil against him, then their punishment is from his hand.
8:5	[hgb]	你若殷勤地寻求神，向全能者恳求。
	[bbe]	If you will make search for God with care, and put your request before the Ruler of all;
8:6	[hgb]	你若清洁正直，他必定为你起来，使你公义的居所兴旺。
	[bbe]	If you are clean and upright; then he will certainly be moved to take up your cause, and will make clear your righteousness by building up your house again.
8:7	[hgb]	你起初虽然微小，终久必甚发达。
	[bbe]	And though your start was small, your end will be very great.
8:8	[hgb]	请你考问前代，追念他们的列祖所查究的。
	[bbe]	Put the question now to the past generations, and give attention to what has been searched out by their fathers:
8:9	[hgb]	（我们不过从昨日才有，一无所知。我们在世的日子好像影儿。）
	[bbe]	(For we are but of yesterday, and have no knowledge, because our days on earth are gone like a shade:)
8:10	[hgb]	他们岂不指教你，告诉你，从心里发出言语来呢？
	[bbe]	Will they not give you teaching, and say words of wisdom to you?
8:11	[hgb]	蒲草没有泥，岂能发长？芦荻没有水，岂能生发？
	[bbe]	Will the river-plant come up in its pride without wet earth? will the grass get tall without water?
8:12	[hgb]	尚青的时候，还没有割下，比百样的草先枯槁。
	[bbe]	When it is still green, without being cut down, it becomes dry and dead before any other plant.
8:13	[hgb]	凡忘记神的人，景况也是这样。不虔敬人的指望要灭没。
	[bbe]	So is the end of all who do not keep God in mind; and the hope of the evil-doer comes to nothing:
8:14	[hgb]	他所仰赖的必折断，他所倚靠的是蜘蛛网。
	[bbe]	Whose support is cut off, and whose hope is no stronger than a spider's thread.
8:15	[hgb]	他要倚靠房屋，房屋却站立不住。他要抓住房屋，房屋却不能存留。
	[bbe]	He is looking to his family for support, but it is not there; he puts his hope in it, but it comes to nothing.
8:16	[hgb]	他在日光之下发青，蔓子爬满了园子。
	[bbe]	He is full of strength before the sun, and his branches go out over his garden.
8:17	[hgb]	他的根盘绕石堆，扎入石地。
	[bbe]	His roots are twisted round the stones, forcing their way in between them.
8:18	[hgb]	他若从本地被拔出，那地就不认识他，说，我没有见过你。
	[bbe]	If he is taken away from his place, then it will say, I have not seen you.
8:19	[hgb]	看哪，这就是他道中之乐。以后必另有人从地而生。
	[bbe]	Such is the joy of his way, and out of the dust another comes up to take his place.
8:20	[hgb]	神必不丢弃完全人，也不扶助邪恶人。
	[bbe]	Truly, God will not give up him who is without sin, and will not take evil-doers by the hand.
8:21	[hgb]	他还要以喜笑充满你的口，以欢呼充满你的嘴。
	[bbe]	The time will come when your mouth will be full of laughing, and cries of joy will come from your lips.
8:22	[hgb]	恨恶你的要披戴惭愧。恶人的帐棚，必归于无有。
	[bbe]	Your haters will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the sinner will not be seen again.
